We held our wedding reception at Bakery 1818. First of all, we arrived TWO hours late and despite the fact that they were preparing to take lunch, they jumped in to help us unload the car. (Important note: when they remind you that you should eat on your wedding day, it’s not a joke!) This is a small, but phenomenal team! Every thought I shared about my vision, every detail explained (even briefly) was executed. They coordinated EVERY detail. I was in make up for over one hour and when I came downstairs, the venue was SET! All of my boxes were unpacked and all of the supplies and decorations were in place. I am very Type A and constantly have thoughts swimming through my head. This day, it was exceptionally true and, probably, annoyingly so. I was only met with smiles in every inquiry. My family is still talking about how amazing the venue was and how much fun they had… Listen, if you want to reduce your stress level, and you should, because wedding planning is h a r d, BOOK IT. Do it. It reduces your workload significantly and, I promise, there’s still plenty for you to do. Like enjoy your wedding!

Elkin Creek Vineyard was the PERFECT site for our wedding. They helped make our dream day come true even as we experienced an unexpected downpour 15 minutes before the ceremony was to begin. The entire team there made sure we had a fantastic night. We also had our rehearsal dinner as well as stayed property and it was such a delight. We had a wonderful experience having our wedding reception at Bermuda Run! The space was perfect. We were able to host 150 guests for cocktail hour in the lobby and a plated dinner in the ballroom, along with a band and dance floor. The lawn behind the clubhouse was the perfect setting for a smaller gathering with friends before our ceremony as well. The grounds offer several beautiful places to take photos. The food was also delicious and there is a great variety to choose from. The staff was really great to work with too! From the planning walk-throughs to the dinner tasting and up to the event itself, the whole team was kind, professional, and worked really hard to pull off our reception without a hitch. Sydney was so receptive to my ideas and always ready to answer any question I had throughout planning. She worked really well with our vendors to execute our perfect wedding day. I would highly recommend hosting your wedding at Bermuda Run! We are truly grateful for the exceptional experience on our special day.
