“We could not recommend a better DJ for our wedding! We got married April 5, 2024 (so sorry for the delayed review!) and Matt was so helpful from day one of talking with him. We live in FL and he’s in Missouri, where we had our wedding and he was always quick to answer my emails and I never felt like all of my questions were ever bothering him. Matt met with us a few times to go over the songs, lights, expectations, and organization of how the songs fit into the sequence of our special day. He made the process so easy and made himself available to meet in the timeframes that we able to fly home and at a place that was convenient. Since he helped reduce stress in the beginning planning stages and he’s so personable, I knew he would be a great fit for our wedding! And… he was a wonderful DJ! The music was perfect, he didn’t play anything that we didn’t want to hear and everything that everyone loved! We picked out most of the songs we wanted during the evening and he played them without question, plus some perfect fitting songs that the guests would love! We are pretty picky people and Matt did a great job fulfilling the DJ role with our requests and making the night just absolutely lovely!!! There were no instances of equipment/technology failure, which is always a plus, he showed up early to set up and his pricing was better than other quotes I received. They're such wonderful people, and I felt very comfortable around them. Rachel is laser-focused and made sure we got every shot, while checking in to make sure we weren't feeling overwhelmed and giving necessary posing instructions. She even helped zip up my dress and pin in my veil. My favorite part was when we were on golf-carts to the next location and she shouted "STOP! The lighting is beautiful," and she was right - we got some of the best pics from that spot. We had 2 zoom calls with them beforehand and Rachel helped us with our timeline, which was so helpful. She's very responsive with emails and her estimation of 5 weeks to get photos after the wedding was exactly correct. We didn't lose our deposit with them when we pushed our original wedding due to the pandemic. Even our engagement photos turned out amazing. I cannot recommend them enough.”

“I cannot say enough good things about our DJ (Jon)! My now husband and I had some concerns regarding some of our family members and we discussed them with Jon prior to the event. Jon respected our wishes and was so professional about everything. He handled things extremely well. We had an issue with the pastor who married us. We had asked the pastor a week or two prior to the wedding if he would at least come by the reception hall to say the blessing at the wedding (He said yes at the time.), and he no-showed. Jon had announced that the pastor would come up and say the blessing, and of course there was radio silence because we quickly realized the pastor wasn’t there. Once we told Jon that he didn’t show up, Jon said a quick blessing and our meal began. We started the dances, and we could not keep people off of the dance floor. Jon kept pace with the crowd so well and everyone had such a blast! What my husband and I didn’t realize at the time was that my husband’s Uncle Joe had a surprise song picked out for us as well as green Irish polo shirts made for all of us (inside joke) and we essentially had a bit of a flash mob at our wedding. Kudos to Jon for going along with his idea! That was so funny and it made our wedding so special. Overall, it was a wonderful evening and I truly hope every couple is blessed with a DJ like Jon. I don’t think he could have done anything better honestly. You will not find a better DJ in the St. Louis / Metro East area! Thanks Jon!”

Rice + Co. Events was founded in March 2022 as Charley Rice Weddings with the vision of bringing intimacy and personality back into weddings. Charley was ordained by the American Marriage Ministries that same month and began performing ceremonies shortly after. In January of 2023, she began accepting coordination clients as well. Since then the business has grown almost entirely from word-of-mouth. They are so easy to work with, so welcoming, and SO detailed. My assistant and I were in awe of their photographer packet that was emailed prior to the wedding! It outlined the entire day for us perfectly. Sometimes, as a photographer, we are expected to lead the day and it can be a huge weight while trying to also document the day to the fullest extent. Having Charley and her team was like a breath of fresh air. “Hiring Luna Co was one of the best decisions we made in planning a 250-guest wedding in only six months! We knew we wanted to do a lot of the planning ourselves and were initially reluctant to use a professional planner/coordinator, but with Luna Co's partial planning option, we got the best of all worlds and an incredible value for the many services that Alexandra, Jazmin, and Sophia provided. The Luna Co team kept track of our vendor contracts, joined calls with vendors whenever we wanted them to, and helped keep us organized with regular check-ins throughout the planning process. They offered recommendations, advised us on logistical questions, and focused on what was most important to us. For example, we had 20 kids at our reception, and the Luna Co team helped us come up with a "kid zone" and coordinated with our caterer to make sure kids' meals were ready a little before the adults ate dinner. On our wedding weekend, Alexandra joined for our ceremony rehearsal, and I don't know what we would have done without her. We had an interfaith (Catholic Jewish) ceremony, so it was a little outside everyone's comfort zone and there was no real template to follow, but Alexandra took charge in the most kind yet firm way and made sure everyone knew what was happening and all of the items we needed were organized and stored safely. It honestly relieved so much stress that day knowing she would be on hand for the ceremony itself. And then on the day of the wedding, we were truly able to just be present and enjoy the moment with our loved ones, because the Luna Co team handled everything behind-the scenes. That included an impressive turnaround reception setup (since we couldn't access our reception venue until later in the day), troubleshooting various misplaced decor materials, and gracefully finding spots for two surprise (but wanted!) guests. Throughout the process, the team was prompt, responsive, and professional. They were easy and fun to work with. We know our large guest count and unique venue made our wedding logistically challenging, but the Luna Co team was always encouraging, positive, and found ways to make things possible. We would highly recommend Luna Co to anyone and everyone!”
