Their genuine excitement for our wedding made us feel like we were the most important people in the state of Oregon.\n\nThe venue itself is truly breathtaking. The immaculate scenery of the area is the perfect backdrop for the venue. Everything from the lush green grass, the stunning chapel, the cozy farmhouse and the barn itself were more than we could have asked for.\n\nHaving chairs and tables at the venue made our special day so much easier knowing that we didn’t have to find a way to bring those in ourselves. The additional decor that is available to rent was also very convenient. We didn't have to bring in any outside rentals!\n\nThe kitchen prep area in the barn was also such a huge help as it allowed us to bring our own caterer to the venue and have all the food prepared right there for our guests. The built-in bar across from the kitchen was also fantastic, as was the bartender, Sam, who was recommended by Kari.\n\nThe ability to stay overnight at the venue in the farmhouse with a few of our guests was such a bonus as it allowed us to spend more time with them and not have to leave early to a hotel.\n\nWhite Barn Estate is perfect for a wedding venue. There is no other word to describe it. Thanks to them, our day was even more wonderful than we dreamed of and we are forever grateful for this memory - for ourselves, and for our family and friends. When we first spoke with Dancin about planning the wedding there, we felt immediately at ease and could see they take great care to ensure all the details are considered then managed accordingly. We are very detailed oriented people so this was very important to us! The terrace was ideal for our outdoor ceremony, followed by a reception for our 50 guests in the piazza. Dancin is a stunningly beautiful place with great energy and we're certain a lot of that has to do with their love for the land and what they do. Their wines are exceptional and the chef creates the most delicious food pairings. We were able to rent and use 3 locations throughout the weekend (Pavilion, House 3, and Thunder Island), and each was accommodating and gorgeous in its own way. The ease of having everything from welcome night, rehearsal, ceremony, and reception in the same spot made our logistics 10 times easier. Lots of wedding venues are gorgeous, but what sets the Locks apart is their this place is that they are truly flexible and hospitable. They will actually listen and try to make anything work for you! We had 200 guests so we really pushed the capacity, and the team worked flawlessly to make sure we got what we needed. Jeanetta (the manager) offered so much helpful perspective, was easy to reach and communicate with, and went the extra mile, even helping us put up and take down lights, bringing her personal tools. It felt like showing off the PNW to our east coast and Midwest guests. They were blown away, and so were we. If you want a low-stress, high-flexibility, and completely stunning outdoor wedding, this is the spot.
