“We had Lucas DJ our wedding in Holbox recently. It was originally scheduled for March of 2020, but we had to cancel and move to Jan 2022. He was a true professional and so wonderful! He made himself available for our new date and didn’t even change his rate (even though he very well could have and all our other vendors did). At the wedding, he was incredible and created the most amazing vibe on the dance floor! The most common comment of the night from everyone, including myself: “I have had to pee for hours but don’t want to leave and miss a song!” He also made the most beautiful remixes of Persian dance numbers and other bangers (I am Iranian and my husband is Irish Catholic). “Shawn did an awesome job! He did the music for our wedding ceremony, the music for the reception, provided uplighting, and the photobooth. My now husband and I enjoyed working with Shawn. He is funny, easy going, and patient. His questionnaire is very detailed and is very helpful for pulling the music together for the day. He also was very focused on making sure my now husband and I heard what we wanted to hear for the music. During the ceremony, Shawn timed the music perfectly. We saw later watching videos that he even cut the microphone out for my brother, the officiant of the wedding, when my brother almost started talking over parents walking down the aisle. Thanks for that, Shawn! Later in the night, we had other challenges with our timeline due to longer than expected speeches, too many tables to say hi to, and my own indecisiveness.
