Little Gold is an intimate and fully curated space. We are an ideal location for couples who want to enjoy a small celebration with all of the charm and comforts of being in a beautiful home. We have a salon, dining area and lounge with a bar front and offer glassware, flatware and a range of dishes, serving utensils and vases for our clients to use. While we do not have a full kitchen, we offer a prep space to prepare, store and serve food. Our space is ideal for catered bites and cocktail foods. We are also a unique and special option for wedding parties to prep for the big day. We are steps away from the heart of downtown Newport and located close to many bars, restaurants and hotels.

Ochre Court, the stunning historical venue located at Salve Regina University. Ochre Court holds a rich history, having been built between 1890 and 1895 as the summer residence of Ogden Goelet. It's truly a magnificent location, nestled within the heart of the picturesque Salve Regina University campus, boasting breathtaking views of the Newport Cliff Walk. The fee for a wedding reception is $30,000.00, which includes exclusive use of the building for a five-hour reception, provision of tables and chairs, setup and breakdown services, as well as dedicated wedding planning support leading up to and during the reception. All ceremonies must take place in our Chapel or off site. All couples are required to use one of our preferred caterers, Blackstone Caterers, McGraths Catering or Sodexo Campus Catering. The mansion holds over three centuries of history, and we would be honored for our home to be a part of yours. The manicured Mayflower Society House and Gardens offer multiple options for indoor and outdoor events or ceremonies. The large and open Solarium is perfect for parties up to 40 seated. Your event will be one to remember whether under our three beautiful linden trees (the biggest in Edgartown) or under a custom Sperry Tent with a large dance floor to get your Boogy on. The Captain Morse House has one of Edgartown’s largest backyards. It is almost four feet above the street grade which allows for great views down Morse St. to the harbor and west for the sunset. Photographers love our natural light at the end of the day.

Our ancestors settled here in 1635 from Heavitree, England, hence the name. We are one of the few longest-living farms to continue in the founder’s name “Geer.” The Heavitree is an original 18th-century building saved and moved to its current location, a 140+ acre farm started by our ancestors in 1700. The original structure was a tavern in Rhode Island, saved from destruction by Charlotte Geer to complement her family’s historic farmland. With twelve rooms, including four sleeping chambers, modern amenities, and unique 18th-century rooms, the 4,780 sq. ft. farmhouse offers a historic experience. Enjoy the vast lawns, fields, gardens, and beautiful private vistas.

Once a colonial farmstead known as Cherry Hill Farm, the Bradley Estate was transformed in 1902 into a classic country estate. Dr. Arthur Tracey Cabot hired noted Architect Charles Platt to design a great house, landscaped grounds, and a complex of farm and estate buildings. Platt adorned the lovely natural setting with manicured lawns, a walled garden, and a brick-edged parterre garden. In 1945, Cabot's niece Eleanor Cabot Bradley acquired Cherry Hill Farm and lived there with her husband until its bequest to The Trustees of Reservations in 1991. Mrs. Bradley made some notable additions to the property, including a greenhouse and a studio. Today, the Bradley Estate is open to the public and the house and grounds host special occasions for both private and corporate clients.
