“We found Lulan Studios about nine months before our wedding day. We were immediately drawn in by their professionalism and their reputation. Lulan is an inclusive photographer who was very receptive to our wedding vision. He and his team were incredibly kind, supportive, and helpful all throughout the process. We elected to go with Lulan Wang himself for our photographer who worked with an associate. After our initial consultation we were turned over to Shannon who was our go to contact for day to day clarifications and vendor contact until Lulan took over just before the wedding. Shannon was immensely resourceful and responsive. She communicated with our coordinator very efficiently and was always on top of our booking. We are very grateful to her as well for making the process so easy and for continuing that communication after the fact. On the day, Lulan and his associate were spectacular. It was clear his associate had more than enough talent for the job just like Lulan, but they divided and concurred by using two different types of cameras for different types of shots. We regret not doing an engagement session with them, but we will likely return for an Anniversary session in the future. We didn’t even need one though, because he is skilled enough that he understood us as a couple immediately. They made us feel comfortable and confident. They hyped us up and moved through the shot list masterfully. Nothing was missed and we captured far more than we expected. Please look through our attached photos as they speak for themselves. One of the most exciting moments was when Lulan handed us a little blue book filled with about fifteen physically printed preview photos DURING THE RECEPTION. A lovely surprise that absolutely shocked me. Turnover was 4-6 weeks and we got ours just before the six week mark right on schedule. We were floored. They are jaw-dropping. We ultimately got 950 photos permanently digitally available for high resolution download and access to a shop with impressive options for prints and albums of a wide array of types and sizes. I’m thrilled to show them to you here and implore you to consider booking Lulan Studios. We trusted in their ability from the beginning and we were not disappointed. They are among if not the absolute best in the business.”

Born in the desert (AZ Baby!) and relocated to the sea. I firmly believe that a good day starts with a cup of coffee and ends with glass of red wine. I own more jewelry than I do clothes and in my opinion, too much gold does not exist. My biggest passion will always be photography. I’ve had a camera in my hands since I was a little girl – I would even set up “stylized shoots” in my family’s living room that consisted of sheets pinned to the wall, my friends and fake flowers (embarrassing, but I’m not kidding!). I strive for those editorial, Vogue-like shots, but I really live for those private, in-between moments.

“I was referred to Kristina by my wedding venue's coordinator. I was having a destination wedding at a private estate and she had shot several weddings and shoots there before. Knowing that she knew the venue and seeing her work, I knew she was a top contender. Having great quality photos was hugely important to me, and that was something I wasn't willing to sacrifice quality on. Her style was exactly what I wanted—natural, soft, minimally edited, and not overly posed. However, a good wedding photographer is an investment, so I wanted to meet with her first. Luckily, she lives in the same town as I do, so I didn't have to travel to the destination to meet her.When I joined her for a glass of wine, we instantly clicked and I was immediately a YES. Before my husband would sign on the dotted line, he wanted to meet her as well. We met for a 2nd time, all three of us, and he also loved her right away. Having that connection to a photographer is SO important to make you feel comfortable throughout the event and truly trust them (photos are awkward, right?). The day could not have run more smoothly, thanks in large part to Kristina. She made taking photos fun for everyone and our bridal party also fell in love with her. Aside from being fun and personable, she was professional and kept us on a tight timeline. She also made sure we fit everything in on my wishlist: first look, first look with my dad, bridal party photos, family photos, table photos, dancing, the hora...didn't miss ANYTHING. In short, she was a total delight to work with, as was the case with Nathan. Prior to the wedding, Nathan took time out of his busy life to get on a video call with Corey and I to discuss our timeline, vision and final details. Nathan and The "I Do" Photography team listened attentively and noted all of our requests and gave great suggestions, but always made it clear it was up to us and they wanted to execute whatever was most important to us. We left our meeting with Nathan feeling so at ease about the people who would capture our day! The craziest part is Nathan was even more spectacular on the wedding day itself than we could have ever expected and brought the most incredible energy and enthusiasm for SEVEN hours straight. Her style of photography and approaching our wedding day allowed us to still take the traditional family portraits, but honestly, I hardly look back on those compared to how much I fawn over all of the other photos of the day/night that she took.
