The beauty of the venue and the inclusive wedding options (i.e. catering, DJ, etc.) made this the absolute perfect place to say, \"I do!\" \n\nThe getting ready suites were superb & made the day of preparation before the ceremony seamless. The chapel was so beautiful and such a great little spot off the side of 355. Our guests still comment on the simplicity of how we decorated the chapel, and how beautiful the white walls and natural light streaming in were during the ceremony. \n\nI was not sure how we'd get group photos on the property... and our photographers were able to use the beautiful stone and green areas within the venue to capture the most beautiful photos of the bride, groom and the wedding party! \n\nGuests are still RAVING about how convenient it was to walk up a few stairs to the cocktail hour AND into the reception. They marveled at the ease... park your car, attend the ceremony and then stay and party all night long until it's time to leave! \n\nThe reception hall was beautiful; the buffet food was to die for; and Meghan and Brandi ensured that EVERY detail of our wedding day was accounted for, seamless and flowing without any hitch! \n\nI cannot recommend Milton Ridge enough! Thank you for making our wedding day the most memorable and BEST day of our lives! From the moment we first toured the space, we knew it was the perfect fit for us. The combination of the industrial aesthetic with Art Deco details set the stage for an unforgettable celebration.\n\nWe held our ceremony in the Beer Garden, hosted cocktail hour in the Beer Garden using the Cocktail Room and Cigar Lounge, and had our reception upstairs in the Crown Room. The flow of the event worked perfectly, and the pictures we captured in those spaces are absolutely incredible. The venue fit our style in every way.\n\nWe chose a buffet for dinner, and it was amazing. Our guests are still talking about how much they loved the food—especially the crab cakes, chicken, and steak. Our signature drinks were made just how we wanted them, and the bar service was top-notch. A huge shoutout to Chef Mauricio and the entire kitchen staff for going above and beyond to help us curate the perfect menu and flawlessly serving 115 guests. The food was incredible and never stopped coming—our guests couldn’t stop raving.\n\nWe also want to give special recognition to Dani, the Events Planner at Guilford Hall. Dani made us feel incredibly comfortable from start to finish. She went out of her way multiple times to make sure everything went smoothly and that we felt at ease throughout the process. Her attention to detail was unmatched, and without her, we would have been all over the place. She is absolutely incredible—if you have the chance to work with her, take it. We stayed at the house on the property with our wedding party and it was perfect. The staff at Worsell were extremely helpful day of - everything was done behind the scenes for us which was great for us so we didn’t feel stressed. My wife and I got married here last June, and to say everything was perfect would be an understatement. It's hard to put into words explaining how great Woody and Michelle were helping us make our special day go exactly as planned.\n\nThe property is beautiful, spacious, and well kept. The waterfront view was the perfect backdrop for our ceremony (Woody even went out of his way to make an aisle of sand for us to walk down). The cigar shack was awesome and the barn was also set up for me and my groomsmen to get ready and hang out until the big moment (they especially enjoyed the darts, ring and hook, and bar with a kegerator). My family and I were very happy with the rooms which were spotless, comfortable, and included refrigerators/kitchenettes. My wife was very happy with her space to get ready, especially with Michelle doing everything she could ensuring the girls had what they needed and making sure everyone was stress free!\n\nWoody and Michelle were more than accommodating. Breakfast was always delicious (the smoothies and Woodys Waffles were my favorites). They were also life savers dealing with our vendors dropping stuff off (at times earlier than expected), even using their golf cart to help move stuff down to the beach to help set up. The golf cart also came in handy taxing people up and down the hill when needed!\n\nI HIGHLY recommend this venue! Woody and Michelle are two of the most kind, accommodating (and hilarious) people I've ever met, and I can't begin to thank them enough for everything they did to make sure our special day went off without a hitch.
