Alla Famiglia was started in 1997. Another fine Italian restaurant created from the mind of David Ayn. In 2005, Ayn approached a young & ambitious chef Jonathan Vlasic to purchase the 8-table restaurant from him. Mr. Vlasic was a perfect fit to receive the baton and move the restaurant into a new future. Alla Famiglia has evolved into a restaurant which is a representation of the years of formal culinary training of Mr.Vlasic and his family of Roman&Emilia descent. The result was an eatery of superior quality with disciplined technique, vivid imagination, and passion for perfection. Through the next 14 years, the restaurant evolves, expands and stretches its footprint to accommodate its increasing popularity and growing demand. In 2014, Mr. Vlasic decides to purchase the property adjacent to the restaurant and bring his vision to a full circle. “Il Teatro” is born in the winter of 2017. Introduced in 1904, The Edgewood Club is located just minutes from downtown Pittsburgh in the hamlet of Edgewood Borough. Our tree-lined community provides a rural setting with all the conveniences of an urban location. Historic with pops of classical and bohemian chic our venue is the perfect location for your wedding or special event. The Edgewood Club is more than simply a place to relax. It’s a place to interact with like-minded people who understand the importance of sharing memorable experiences. The beauty of the club is that we will only host ONE wedding per weekend, be it a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. We love providing our host with the time necessary to enjoy their event and by no means are we a “cookie cutter” one in one out type of venue. It is so important that we build relationships and give our hosts the confidence to attend as a guest and enjoy the whole experience. We do only free listings and typically book a year to a year and a half in advance.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Carriage House was built in 1908 as part of the Watson family estate called High Gate. It was designed by Horace Trumbauer, architect of The Biltmore Estate. Your wedding will have the elegance of a by-gone era. The elements of character show through with a terra cotta roof and verdigris copper accents that are trademarks of the Tudor Revival Style architecture. The event can be held inside the Carriage House with up to 135 guests or under the high-peaked tent in the garden that can accommodate up to 260 guests.

Beaver Station Cultural & Event Center is a one-of-a-kind wedding venue in Beaver, PA. It is a former Pittsburgh & Lake Erie passenger station built in 1897 that was lovingly restored by the Beaver Area Heritage Foundation. Now, it sets the stage for an unforgettable wedding celebration, with most of its original details remaining intact. The venue is also 15 minutes from the Pittsburgh International Airport. The property features a gorgeous Event Room and a covered Trackside Courtyard to accommodate 200 guests. Ceremonies at Beaver Station Cultural & Event Center are held outside in the Belvedere, surrounded by beautiful gardens. Here, you can exchange your vows among colorful blooms. In addition, the venue features a bridal suite that welcomes your bridal party to a private area to prepare for the ceremony. Pictures following the ceremony are taken all over the campus, which includes extensive gardens and a log house.
