“I am a professional wedding coordinator turned queer bride and I was worried about finding a good DJ for our wedding. Many wedding DJs give me second hand embarrassment and create a cringey homecoming-y vibe. Also, we had a guest count of just 47 so we were worried about finding a DJ who could get the dance floor moving with such a small group. Frank was everything we were looking for and more!!! Frank absolutely BLEW US AWAY with his professionalism, talent, and personality! In meetings he was attentive, explained everything in detail, and really worked to get to know us as a couple instead of just a cookie cutter one size fits most format. QUEER COUPLES THIS IS YOUR DJ!!! As a queer couple, we were in search of vendors who would make us feel safe and welcome through the whole process. We absolutely found that in Frank! He was open and understanding of pronouns, identities, and family dynamics. He truly cared and listened to us about each and every aspect! We felt truly celebrated, safe, and welcome! On the big day everyone was telling us how well they could hear everything during the ceremony (it was outside and windy) and we gave alllllll the credit to Frank’s high quality equipment and skill. My spouse and I kept talking about how good of an announcer he was and how well spoken he was. Zero cringing on my end (which is HUGE for me)! His lighting and set up was professional and elegant. It didn’t take away from the rest of the decor while still lighting up on the dance floor beautifully and made for the perfect dancing atmosphere! Once it was time for dancing he kept the party going until the last song even with our small guest count! We had a blast and Frank played a MASSIVE role in that! He worked seamlessly with our planner and designer, Mia, with Little Acorns Events who recommended him! Our timeline, experience, and vibe was perfect thanks to their collaboration!!! We couldn’t possibly recommend Frank with PTEG enough! Trust me he will be the highlight of your event!”

It’s the little things like these emails that went above and beyond to make sure our evening went as smoothly as possible. Our DJ, Elmer, was very enthusiastic despite challenges at the beginning of the event – the venue coordinator was very combative with him during set-up – and he didn’t let it affect the energy of the evening. (We didn’t find out until after the wedding date from our other vendors setting up and we had to reach out and ask about it because he didn’t want us to worry at all). He provided a high energy level and hits for dancing the whole evening and stuck to our favorite music vibes. Our photo booth operator, Becky, pulled us aside to take photos in the booth and thank goodness she did because we didn’t get the chance to go in before or after she pulled us aside. She put our guestbook together throughout the evening and it was fun to have something that captured our night to look through the next morning. Signature DJs was reasonably priced considering everything we received - music for ceremony & reception, mics, uplighting for dance floor, photo booth with guest book, monogram, and bubble exit complete with 2 bubble machines and bubbles for individual guests. They were flexible with our requests (customized monogram, unconventional timeline, and last-minute song additions) and had already worked at our venue so they were already familiar with the space which was super helpful because the venue coordinator was awful to work with. They put us at ease and gave us confidence that our day would be wonderful when we were the most stressed. “DJ Kashif was the DJ for the mehndi of my multi-cultural (Pakistani and Palestinian) wedding. Naturally, for a mixed Desi and Arab wedding, it's always a point of concern to make sure people from both cultures are enjoying the music and having a good time throughout the event. DJ Kashif did a fantastic job in his song selection for the event. Attendees of the event had absolutely no complaints about the music (which is extremely impressive for mixed weddings) and had everyone on the dance floor. He was able to play mehndi mixes that were brought last minute with zero issue, and had a great personality for livening up the crowd. The uplighting that he brought for the dancefloor completely changed the mood and got everyone reenergized too! For the venue we were at, he was able to fix issues related to the light/power going out quickly and was able to change the lighting too. Truly, from start to finish he did a great job and I only wish I found him earlier to DJ at the other events too.”

“We were super excited to work with a veteran-owned business for our wedding music. However, the experience was not what we had hoped for. William's communication style was fast and accommodating, but he had a hard time matching the style of music we provided for our playlist (we provided around 40 songs for him and he added the rest to get the time coverage, but we didn't like 60% of his choices so we changed them 2 days before, which he fixed with no complaints!). During the ceremony, the music was skipping (outdoor and separate from reception area) and he ended up playing more guest requests than the songs we had specifically chosen as the couple. One big positive was he had a good balance of talking/directing and just playing music which I really appreciated. Overall, we had mixed feelings but all the issues we had could have been corrected with an equipment check (not sure if this was a venue issue or DJ issue) and preference of our music over the guests. I really liked working with William as a person and he handled changes really well, but I was disappointed to not hear more of my song choices.”
