For over a century, the Kokomo Country Club in Kokomo, IN had the honor of hosting events of all kinds. In need of a renaissance to continue its proud history of serving the community, the Kokomo Country Club partnered with Laura O’Donnell and Marcus Misinec in early 2020. Our vision is to provide superb accommodations for a wide-variety of planned events and deliver a slate of stimulating entertainment Experiences for Kokomo, Indiana and beyond.

The barn is a unique and rustic venue that sits in the middle of 200 acres of Christmas Tree Farm and wooded area. Our Bar/Kitchen, Food Court, Bridal Suite, Open Patio and Restrooms make up our ‘little village type area’. Our barn can be utilized for Wedding, Wedding Receptions, and many different type Events/Parties. The Hopewell Barn is located about 1/2 mile south of the historic Hopewell Church. Built in 1872 and purchased by Deb in 2018, the church is listed on National Historic Register for its ties to Gene Stratton Porter. Gene was a famous author in the early 1900’s and the area of ‘Hopewell’ was used as the locale for the settings for several of her books. The name ‘Rustic Barn at Hopewell’ was selected to pay tribute to historic roots of the Hopewell area.

In past traditions, a father of the bride would slip a sixpence into his daughter’s shoe before they would walk down the aisle together. Putting the sixpence stood for good luck and to show that the father wished his daughter prosperity in her marriage. The Silver Coin Wedding & Event Manor is here to create the wedding or event you have always dreamed of. The capability of making your dream a reality is possible here at the venue! The venue has a seating capacity of 200 guests based on floor layout equipped with all year round climate control and indoor restrooms. The venue does hold a 3-way liquor license meaning all alcohol services will be handled through the Silver Coin Wedding & Event Manor. All aspects of the venue are ADA compliant with a designated paved handicap parking area. There is an outdoor patio that is equipped with gas hookups for fire pits and heat lamps. ​
