They make it so easy with their planning guide including every vendor suggestion you could ever need and their decor closet is a life saver! Alex held a planning meeting with us where she walked us through every detail of the day and helped me remember small details I had missed so we avoided any issues day of. The day of the wedding I had a team of family/bridesmaids/groomsmen ready to help set up and they were not needed. Alex and her team handled everything for us and it made the day so stress free. Also - the cows and mini donkeys are a huge plus! We received many compliments from our friends and family about how beautiful the venue is both inside and outside. I worked with Jennifer throughout the planning process, and she was not only so incredibly sweet and helpful, but she was also super quick at responding to emails and any questions I had whether big or small. Halle and Kendall were both SO sweet and helpful, and the bartender, Bobby (who I believe works for the venue) was absolutely wonderful! I would definitely recommend Sun Valley to any couple looking for a beautiful venue, especially if they want an outdoor ceremony in the fall! The beautiful site was unique and every guest raved over the location. Even with the rain, it was stunning. Our wedding was on 9/28/24 so the property was open to the public during the day, but not very busy. We used the east side of the property and it was beyond picture perfect. The pavilion set the most perfect vibes for our reception, and the area behind the Herrick House was a dream come true for our ceremony. My husband and I did a first look and private vows in front of the yellow house, and were able to take photos on the entire property. It was MAGICAL to say the least. But this review is mostly for the AMAZING Miss Dotty. About two months before my wedding, I was notified that the person I had been in contact with and had been planning with was no longer with HF. Obviously, I was stressed and nervous to say the least. But once Dotty was brought on, and after one meeting with her my fears subsided. This amazing person did EVERYTHING in her power to help me achieve the wedding of my dreams. She came up with solutions to any issues, she offered ideas and thoughts for any question I had. This woman worked her butt off the day of my wedding!! With the change in staffing, and promises made from the prior, Dotty went above and beyond to make things happen. She also had a second wedding on the west side of the property the same day, and Dotty seemed to always be around when I needed something. When my ceremony was 45 minutes late... no fault of HF or Dotty (family drama)... and I was on the verge of a breakdown, Dotty came over to me and asked \"you want to hear a funny story?\" and continued to tell me something funny to distract me, and make me laugh. She made sure I wasn't too shiny from the stress sweat, and helped get things back on track. At one point she had the help of a young man named Alex (I hope that's right) who was just as kind and helpful as she was. Both helped with set up, and tear down. Alex helped fluff my dress before I walked at the ceremony as Dotty was closing and opening the entrance doors for me. They both seemed to make sure that everything could go as best as it could. I know for a fact this day would not have happened, and would not have been as amazing as it was, if not for Dotty. She is a superhero. Hale Farm and Village was truly a dream come true venue for us and our special day. But Dotty was a rock star and I am forever grateful for her, her hard work, and her kindness from the moment I met her. If that doesn’t sound perfect enough, the owner, Natasha Learn has made the interior the perfect event venue. The aesthetic alone is very stunning, while still being simple yet elegant enough to match basically any aesthetic you could ask for. What made my event magical was planning my wedding with Natasha and getting her full-service day-of coordination. She is spectacular. My mother and I normally bicker about everything, yet by working with Natasha, she saw both my mother’s vision and my own come into beautiful fruition. We have no connection to Meadville whatsoever and for most of us, it took at least 2 hours to get to Meadville. I would make people drive 10 hours to go to Meadville for the sake of having a wedding at the Harper. The Harper is a stunning venue, that was accessible to any person- elderly, handicapped, coming with many children, disorganized bride, and even a very grumpy grandma. As a side note, any mothers, fathers, grooms, brides, etc. Save the relationships, and sign up for full-service planning.
