The venue is located a very short distance from the city, and honestly, the traffic from the city to Indiana is nearly not as bad as the Northern Suburbs. \n\nThe venue itself is gorgeous for the ceremony as well as the reception! Maria, our wedding coordinator, was able to calm all our nerves, make the planning process so easy, and the fact that they have optional in-house vendors helped take off so much from our plate. She is such a valuable asset to the wedding planning aspect, and she was a delight to work with: so kind, patient, and fun! \n\nPlus, every one of our wedding guests kept raving about how beautiful the venue was and how seamless it appeared. We got married in October 2025, and the gardens were spectacular. They were just as green as if we had chosen to get married in the summer. Everything turned out great. The owners are very personable and easy to work with. They went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. They have connections with the local vendors. That put our mind at ease knowing that they’ve worked together before and everything would run smoothly. The carriage house, on site, made it convenient and easy for me and my girls to get ready in before the ceremony. The property is beautiful. I had about 80 guests and it felt like any more than that would have been too crowded. So many different spots on the property to get married on, all beautiful. Different locations cost different price. Overall, relatively cheap compared to other venues. When talking to them, I first started with one wedding coordinator. She left and was informed about the new coordinator. She introduced herself and thought she was awesome. She was very tentative to all the details and was very helpful. I wasn’t informed that she had left and a new coordinator had taken her spot. I didn’t know there was a new coordinator until the day before the wedding. She didn’t take charge of anything. She took a back seat to everything. Told her I had a specific song I wanted to play for walking down the aisle. There wasn’t any sort practice with the song at the rehearsal. She couldn’t figure out how to connect my phone to the sound system. From the very first interaction, their communication was easy, helpful, responsive, and fantastic. The venue itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and huge - they have their own storeroom of decorations we could use, set up all the decorations for us, and even allowed us to rent additional conference rooms for our rehearsal dinner. They took care of everything from our hotel block to the ceremony and reception, and John and Chae made the entire process so easy that I had nothing to stress about on the day of the wedding.
