Our farm is a multigenerational heritage homestead and Wedding Venue. Our elevated rural property is located in Avon Park, FL. The black and white farm house aesthetic is a modern take on the traditional barn wedding. Whether you are hosting family and friends or a corporate event, our homestead is the perfect location to create a remarkable event.

Originally built as a citrus barn in the late 70’s, our rustic and elegantly charming event venue comfortably seats 200 guests. A canopy of mossy oaks surrounds the outdoor ceremony site with market lights strung to create a romantic glow. A paved walkway leads to your happily ever after where vows are exchanged in front of our wooden gazebo. In the air-conditioned reception room, guests will enjoy comfortable seating under our lofty ceiling where draping and twinkle lights create a delightful starry sky atmosphere. We started our Ranch in 2008 with just cattle. We built our house here in 2011 and in 2012 our son and daughter in law decided to have their wedding here. After that we had a lot of people asking to have a wedding or an event here, so we decided to build our Barn to share our beautiful property for weddings, receptions, parties, fundraiser or special event.

The Crocker Memorial Church was built in 1901 and has been in continuous use ever since. This charming little white church is a marvel of adaptive use. It has been moved three times and has now come to rest in Pioneer Park, the home of the Historical Society of Sarasota County. The Crocker Memorial Church sits next to the Bidwell-Wood House, built in 1882. Both the spacious front and back porches of this home are welcome gathering places for your wedding party and guests. Photography is permitted at both locations as well as on the grounds. There is a sound system in the church.

Just outside of downtown Tampa sits The Orlo, a private social club housed within the historic Spafford House and ballroom. Orlo J. Spafford, the president of the Tampa National Bank, built the Orlo in 1896 to share with his son and his family. In 1922 the Orlo was sold to the Tampa Women’s Club where the addition of a ballroom was made to host formal parties and extravagant dances. This historical ballroom still stands today and is ready to host your next party or extravaganza. Some of our favorite features are our gorgeous bridal suite on the second floor. It has so much natural lighting (a photographers dream) and large enough for you and your bridal party to get ready on your wedding morning! The Orlo has been restored and still has the original wood floors, chandeliers, and grand staircase. It is the perfect blank slate for your wedding or event!

Nestled in the heart of Lake Wales, our historic venue, built in 1927, offers a stunning blend of Roman, Byzantine, and Renaissance architectural details. The “mission style” of our building is inspired by the Spanish Colonial architecture of the 18th century, characterized by beautiful arches, tiled roofs, and stucco walls. Our versatile spaces are perfect for weddings, milestone events, team-building, art education retreats, and corporate gatherings.

Jeff Hardeman, the owner of Hardeman Landscape Nursery, is the visionary behind the Secret Garden. His extensive travels have significantly influenced his designs, and the Secret Garden is a perfect example of this inspiration. Each area of the garden exudes an exotic yet natural ambiance, expertly balancing adventurous elements with modern appeal. Additionally, the Secret Garden features an educational section, earning it recognition as an Agri-Tourism location in Florida. This garden represents the culmination of Hardeman’s life and work, designed to educate, provide enjoyment for visitors, and serve as a testament to his vision of what the world can offer to our senses.
