“Ben was amazing to work with on our engagement shoot. Leading up to the appointment, he was very flexible with changing the location, and responded in a timely manor. The day of, he arrived promptly and already had a good idea of the location, showing he put in the time to research the location prior. He made the whole process of getting romantic photos taken very easy breezy. Things never felt uncomfortable or forced and he was very enthusiastic as well. The turn around time that was estimated to us was something we considered to be pretty quick, but then far exceeded our expectations when we got them only 2 business days later. When my wife and I decided to get married, one of our biggest concerns as a T4T couple was finding a photographer who was someone that could make us both feel comfortable showing up as our authentic selves. “We found Kendra on Instagram (yes, Instagram!) and instantly fell in love with her style. She is so personable and made us feel like ourselves in front of the camera, which included lots of giggles and following us around while we adventured for our engagement shoot. We picked Kendra as our wedding photographer for a lot of reasons, but initially because we loved her natural, bright and romantic aesthetic. As soon as we started working with Kendra, it was like we had been friends for a long time. She made us feel special and knew exactly what to say to capture our emotions and love for one another in the way that we expressed it, which sounds like a no brainer, but it can be challenging to feel "normal" when a new person is in front of you and taking your picture! In addition to being an incredible photographer, we turned to Kendra for her opinion and advice in some of our wedding decisions that we were having trouble making. Kendra gladly and professionally provided us with her input and even sent us some photos of examples of things we were considering that she had previously photographed so we had a visual. On the day of our wedding, from the moment Kendra arrived, she ran the show. I was so excited to see her and felt like she was a wedding guest that had arrived, but even though we developed an excellent rapport, Kendra meant business and was ready to do her job, so she got the ball really rolling. Shortly after her arrival, tension started to grow as we became closer and closer to the time of the ceremony and things didn't go exactly as we had planned them. Kendra had our backs and helped us to solve as many problems as we could, and make the best of the others that we had to move on from. This would be described under going "above and beyond the call of duty"! Kendra was there for us as our incredible photographer, but she wore many hats that contributed to the success of our wedding day. You should select Kendra as your wedding photographer if you want someone who is calm and personable, while delivering natural, bright and romantic photos. She is a kind professional with a calming presence and a "sixth sense" for when & where to capture the perfect shot. She's got an artist's eye, and sought out unique locations & lighting to make the most out of our photoshoot around the MASS MoCA campus. (Check out that silhouette of our profiles! A spontaneous idea of hers ;) ) While we were still in the planning stage, Angie took the time to regularly check in with us and prepare. Whenever we were on the phone with her, it felt like she was in the room with us! Her friendliness and passion came through in our conversations, and we felt relieved knowing that we wouldn't have to worry about how we might "get along" with our photographer on our wedding day. Once Angie arrived on the day-of, everything felt natural. Throughout the day & evening, we never felt "overwhelmed" by her presence, yet she was always there to snap the most animated moments. And not just our most animated moments -- the photos of our guests are so charged with emotion, we can hear & feel them! Our favorite part of going through our wedding album has been seeing the joy on our guests' faces, all captured by Angie. When I was a kid growing up in Michigan, I was always fooling around with my mom’s old manual cameras and capturing everything my friends and I did. I took traditional art classes in high school, but even then, I was merely creating paintings of the photos I had taken. I went on to study documentary photography at the Maryland Institute of Art and abroad at the University of Wales, where I won the Nikon Discovery Award Grand Prize and was named one of the 25 Under 25 Up-and-Coming American Photographers. When a friend asked me to assist at a wedding she was photographing, and my plans changed in an instant.

“Where do we even begin!? I feel so lucky that we found Gina. From the minute that we met her, we knew we wanted to work with her. Beyond being in love with her past work, she was kind and patient and warm and genuine -- she expressed just as much excitement about planning for our wedding as we did. She went above and beyond to answer our questions and was always offering to help in any way she could, even beyond photography-related things! She really took the time to get to know us and to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. We first met with Gina about 10 months before our actual wedding, but from there on out, she made a constant effort to check in all throughout our planning process and was incredibly helpful when it came time to planning our day-of timeline. She never hesitated to offer her expertise and always made time for us! She always made me, and my family, feel like a priority and I was so appreciative of that. Nothing like a little good luck rain on your wedding day, and in our case, it was torrential downpours! This threw a bit of wrench in our outdoor photo plans, but Gina jumped right in to help seamlessly transition our whole wedding party to our rain plan and made sure that we still got all the photos that we wanted. She braved the weather with us, sloshed around in the rain, ran in and out of neighborhood bars and never missed a beat -- all to make sure we got all the best pictures. I already knew this, of course, but so many of our friends and family members made a point to tell me how wonderful Gina was to have around us that day -- she captured the quiet moments and you didn't even know she was there, and then she jumped in to help keep everyone organized and on time through lots of pictures on a tight schedule, and still made sure everyone had fun! Our wedding photos came out better than I could have ever expected. She has an amazing way of capturing the magic of the moments -- big and small -- and every day when I look back through all the pictures, I get to re-live it all. She truly captured every emotion so beautifully -- all the laughs and tears and excitement and love. While the night went by way too fast, we're so lucky to have all of these beautiful photos to look back at forever and can't begin to thank Gina enough for making that possible. She's the best!!”
