It was an apt name because the intricately carved mushroom exemplified the skill, beauty, and taste that Peg brought to Pittsburgh’s culinary scene. Today, thousands of weddings, corporate events, and private parties later, son Lee Deiseroth and his staff will bring that enduring style and sophistication to your next special event. Located in the heart of Pittsburgh’s historic Strip District, The Art Room is a 4,000 square foot, modern industrial event space. Its rustic yet refined feel makes this space the perfect venue for your special occasion. The Art Room was born in Fall 2019 on the concept of creating an event space with the juxtaposition of industrial and fine arts. After seeing the rustic space, we started renovations right away. Given the timing of opening our space, we, like many others, were halted due to COVD-19. Beginning in the Spring of 2021 we were able to resume hosting events and honing in on the original concept of a versatile event venue partnered with a fine arts gallery.

The Barn at Maple Falls is a countryside haven surrounded by scenic natural vistas, water features, and luscious green lawns. Your heartfelt ceremony can take place outdoors under the delightful covered bridge, which provides a natural backdrop for your vows. Afterward, a relaxed cocktail hour can be held in the lower barn and the adjacent outdoor area. The upper floor of the barn offers 3,500 square feet of event space that when combined with our patio tent, can accommodate up to 350 seated guests. For larger celebrations, parties can be split across the two-story barn and the patio can be converted to accommodate additional seating.

Alla Famiglia was started in 1997. Another fine Italian restaurant created from the mind of David Ayn. In 2005, Ayn approached a young & ambitious chef Jonathan Vlasic to purchase the 8-table restaurant from him. Mr. Vlasic was a perfect fit to receive the baton and move the restaurant into a new future. Alla Famiglia has evolved into a restaurant which is a representation of the years of formal culinary training of Mr.Vlasic and his family of Roman&Emilia descent. The result was an eatery of superior quality with disciplined technique, vivid imagination, and passion for perfection. Through the next 14 years, the restaurant evolves, expands and stretches its footprint to accommodate its increasing popularity and growing demand. In 2014, Mr. Vlasic decides to purchase the property adjacent to the restaurant and bring his vision to a full circle. “Il Teatro” is born in the winter of 2017. It is now reinvented into its original depression art deco-era for Alla Famiglia guests to enjoy.

City Winery is Pittsburgh’s premier winery, where the rustic appeal of wine country meets modern, urban amenities. First opened in 1929, this vaudeville theatre has hosted many a night filled with joy and laughter. Over the years, this entertainment staple transformed to meet the needs of an ever-changing community. First, the property began showing films, before reopening as a concert hall, and finally closing its doors 80 successful years later. In 2019, the theatre reopened to welcome members of the public once again into a world of fun and creativity. Located in the bustling business district of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the Roxian Theatre offers couples a versatile event space to hold all of their wedding celebrations. From the ceremony to the reception, this historic building is designed for hosting show-stopping events. Following extensive refurbishments, this multi-level space allows soon-to-be-weds to design stunning personalized occasions.

Cefalo’s Banquet and Event Center opened its doors in February 2005. Owners Leonard, Kathleen, and Dean Cefalo purchased the former Christ United Presbyterian Church and completely redesigned and renovated the over century old stone structure. The acoustically friendly main room sets the perfect stage for cocktail hour. The exclusive VIP loft oversees the stage and lounge. The banquet room is completely separate from the main club, allowing guests to have an intimate dining experience. ​We specialize in wedding receptions and corporate functions.
