We moved from Colorado to Arkansas shortly after getting engaged, and because we had already selected a wedding venue in Colorado, our plan was to hire Max for engagement photos in Arkansas only and go with a CO-based photographer for the wedding. After meeting Max and hearing his story, we knew we were going to forgo our original plan and hire him for both sets of photos. Our engagement shoot was so much fun, and my husband and I both felt comfortable the entire time (which is rare for us, we're awkward people!). We knew once we got our engagement photos back that hiring Max for our wedding was the right choice, and man did he prove us right! The second he arrived at our venue on wedding day, he fit right in and made everything feel fun instead of stressful. “Working with S&LM was pretty good. They communicated to me closer to the event, and asked me for everything they needed and more. The pictures I have seen so far look great, and the small video I have seen looked good as well. They made sure I got almost all of the specific photos I wanted, and had a take-charge attitude while photographing, and making sure everyone was in the right place and looking great! The DJs were pretty good, but didn't know all the specific songs we mentioned that we wanted played for certain dances/moments. They also didn't announce the first dance until they were hitting the play button, which threw our choreography off until we asked them to restart! Unfortunately, some people missed our dance because they didn't know that it was happening. It still worked out in the end, and all the right songs were played at the right moments. All in all, I would definitely recommend Lights & Sound Media to prospective couples.”
