For over a century, Cairnwood has been hosting wedding receptions within its halls. The tradition began with John and Gertrude Pitcairn opening their home for a marriage celebration in 1896. Today, the Estate is available for sit-down dinners with 200 guests or an opulent stations-style event for up to 275. The graciousness of the Estate provides a setting that departs from the ordinary with endless indoor and outdoor possibilities. The distinguished architecture, terraces, grand staircase, balconies, and flowering gardens inspire couples to welcome guests into their own spacious mansion for a unique and memorable celebration.

The magnificent grounds of Alverthorpe Manor unite an estate rich in American and Pennsylvania history with contemporary works of art exhibited by the Abington Art Center to provide a beautiful and unique venue for your special event.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Curtis Hall is surrounded by a 45-acre arboretum created by Frederick Law Olmsted, landscape architect for New York City’s Central Park. The “hall” is the original music ballroom of the 1893 Cyrus Curtis estate, "Lyndon". The capacity for dining and dancing is 200. Beyond the handsome wrought-iron entrance gates is a vintage setting of rolling hills, two ponds, an original pergola and 50 varieties of trees. Located in Wyncote, Cheltenham Township, Curtis Hall is just five miles from Center City Philadelphia.

Elkins Estate is a 42-acre architecturally rich estate conveniently located outside of Philadelphia, PA. We are currently hosting events in the Elstowe Manor and will soon be opening its next space, the Chelten House. We have 70 overnight accommodations for wedding guests.

Morris Arboretum & Gardens gives you private access to 92 breathtaking acres situated in the historic Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia. Our picturesque gardens are exclusively yours when for the festivities from 6-11pm with a max capacity of 175 (some restrictions apply at the max guest count). Mr. Renner made the decision to keep the original industrial scale for weighing wool, which you can still see inside our front foyer. Our first batch of Manayunk Brewing Company beer was tapped on October 17, 1996. Since then, we have brewed more than 600 different varieties of beers, and have been selling these sought-after styles all around Philadelphia and New Jersey. Our brewers continue to explore new takes on classic styles, especially when it comes to sour ales and India Pale Ales. You will no doubt see our delivery truck bringing goods to happy customers throughout the Philadelphia region! Mr. Renner’s daughter took over the building in 2004 and runs the restaurant and brewery along with her business partner Mike Rose. Since then, they have expanded the restaurant by installing a stone pizza oven and sushi bar, as well as a chic banquet space for weddings and meetings. We’ve also begun to offer kayak tours along the adjacent Schuylkill River during the warm months.

If you are seeking an exquisite garden setting you’ve arrived at the right place! There are 3 components to the rental of Appleford: you have the use of the inside of the estate, use of the tented terrace, and access to the gardens. Your wedding can take place both inside and outside of the house, with the seating for your reception taking place under the tented terrace overlooking the gardens. You and your guests are welcome to roam the gardens and take pictures in the alee of trees, boxwoods, roses garden, walled garden, and private medallion garden. A pond, small waterfall, and landscaped entrance in front of the home is the ideal setting for your onsite ceremony. Appleford works with 8 exclusive caterers and is BYOB. Clients are welcome to select a florist, photographer, videographer, and other vendors. The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts boasts two unique event spaces: The Historic Landmark Building houses the oldest art school and museum in the Country with world-renowned architecture by Furness & Hewitt. Featuring classic Victorian Gothic details, the ambiance of this memorable space offers unique entertaining locations for intimate and large groups. The Hamilton Building is an expansive turn-of the century car showroom that has found new life, reinvented as a modern gallery space with views of downtown and direct proximity to the Pennsylvania Convention Center. The Hamilton Building offers the unique opportunity to dine among our rotating exhibitions.

FringeArts is a unique venue in Old City with two versatile spaces that can be rented separately or together, based on the couple’s vision. Most often the spaces are rented together. Our restaurant can seat 80 or host a standing cocktail reception for 150. FringeArts can accommodate up to 200 guests for a seated dinner in their space. The two spaces are separated by a moveable air wall. We can host a ceremony and cocktail hour in the restaurant and in Haas Biergarten right outside, and then open the wall to reveal a dining room space in the FringeArts theater. After dinner, head back out to the main bar and hit up the dance floor, or head outside to Haas Biergarten. Outside we have a bar that is operational May-October, lawn games, fire pits, and a great view of the Ben Franklin Bridge!

Arch Street Meeting House is a historic wedding venue located in Old City Philadelphia. The land on which Arch Street Meeting House stands was officially deeded to the Quakers in 1701 and used as a burial ground until 1872. The building was constructed in stages from 1803 to 1811 when need arose of a larger meetinghouse in Philadelphia. The site is still an active place of worship in addition to being used as an educational museum space, and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2011. It is frequently rented for conferences, weddings, dinners, and graduations. The building sits on just shy of 2 acres, and our grounds include both grassy & brick spaces and lots of mature trees. The entire site exudes an overall historic charm.

The noted three-bell restaurant from Philadelphia Inquirer’s Craig LaBan boasts a rooftop garden fit for a dreamy ceremony, a second-floor dining space utilized for the reception, curated French-forward food and beverage packages, and much more. The restaurant, located in the heart of Philadelphia’s historic Old City district, serves a French-inspired menu with a focus on house-made charcuterie, raw bar specialties, and classic cocktails. We worked diligently to preserve and enhance the building’s historical charm and integrity. The bi-level space features restored finishes such as original pine flooring dating back to the 1830s, as well as tin ceilings, antique light fixtures, and exposed brick walls.
