We had the absolute best experience with Highland Manor and Dubsdread Catering! From the moment we stepped onto the property for our first tour with Michelle, we were blown away. The venue is stunning—the historic charm, the gorgeous oak tree, and the warm, romantic feel of the space made it everything we could’ve dreamed of and more. Michelle was so helpful and welcoming from day one, walking us through open houses and answering every question during the planning process. When we transitioned to David, who was both our planner and day-of coordinator, we knew we were in excellent hands. He was organized, calm, and genuinely cared about making our day stress-free and perfect. The day of our wedding, the weather didn’t cooperate, and we had to make a last-minute switch from an outdoor ceremony to indoors. David and the team made it happen without a hitch—moving the reception tables aside and using the chairs from the tables to set up a beautiful indoor ceremony layout. It didn’t feel like a backup plan at all—it looked intentional and beautiful. The entire staff was incredibly professional—from the servers to the bartenders, everyone was friendly, attentive, and on point all night. A special thank you to Yolanda, our head waitress/butler, who truly went above and beyond. She followed us around with my dress to ensure it wasn't getting wet, brought us drinks all evening without us ever having to ask, and made sure we had plates from the buffet, cake, and anything else we needed. She made us feel completely taken care of from start to finish. And the food? Wow. Our guests still haven’t stopped talking about how good it was. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. There was a great variety, and it was easily the best wedding food we've ever had. If you’re considering Highland Manor and Dubsdread Catering—do it. The venue is breathtaking, the team is exceptional, and they made our wedding day absolutely unforgettable. We can’t recommend them enough!

When Should You Book Your Winter Garden Wedding Venue?

Most couples secure their Winter Garden venues about 16 months (471 days) before saying "I do" which gives you plenty of time to coordinate other elements of your celebration. August sees the highest number of venue inquiries so you'll face more competition during this period. You'll find better availability and negotiating leverage during the slower season from late fall through early spring; venues are more likely to offer favorable rates when their calendars aren't already filling up.

What Venues in Winter Garden Offer Outstanding Culinary Experiences?

The Attic Door stands out with its award-winning chef who works directly with couples to create personalized menus that reflect your tastes and preferences. You'll also find exceptional dining experiences at nearby Isleworth Golf & Country Club Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings Florida and Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress. Each venue combines elegant settings with remarkable food quality so your guests enjoy a memorable culinary experience alongside your celebration. These options let you focus on the experience rather than worrying about separate catering arrangements.

How Can You Accommodate Remote Guests at Winter Garden Weddings?

While most Winter Garden venues don't specifically advertise advanced remote participation features you can work with locations like The Attic Door to create interactive experiences for guests who can't attend in person. Consider implementing virtual tours 360-degree video experiences or interactive elements beyond basic streaming. Your faraway loved ones will appreciate thoughtful touches that make them feel included rather than just passive observers of your special day.

What Should You Ask When Touring Winter Garden Venues?

Ask about air conditioning capacity especially if you're planning a summer wedding; Florida heat demands reliable climate control. You should inquire about transportation partnerships since most Winter Garden venues don't offer on-site accommodations but often work with nearby hotels that provide shuttle services for your guests. Make sure to verify kitchen facilities for your caterers too. Some venues have limited on-site cooking capabilities while others offer comprehensive options that'll give your food service team everything they need. These practical questions help ensure your celebration runs smoothly.
