The planning team there is absolutely amazing - Anna helped us through most planning sessions, and Jill was our day of coordinator - both amazing at their jobs. Between the Granite Rose staff, and the partnerships with many of our vendors, our wedding went off without a hitch, and we were actually able to enjoy the process. We had an absolute blast on our wedding day, and it was absolutley due to this venue and their staff. I do not think we would have enjoyed our day this much if it had been at a different venue. From the decor, to the food, to the bar, to the dancefloor, everything was amazing. Could not have asked for a better crew - Our banquet coordinator, Joshua, had the most amazing energy, and made sure that my husband and I always had what we needed and that any concerns were addressed immediately. Our bartender, Mariah, was great at her job, and remembered everyone's drink order the entire night. The food was phenomenal - so delicious and our Chefs Jim and Joe were able to accomodate every allergy/request with no fuss. Our entire crew was so professional and we are so impressed by the service they provided (shout out Tirk, Kiara, Jen, and Hunter). \n\nWe would highly recommend using Wedgewood Weddings for your wedding/event, and in particular looking into the Granite Rose, and their awesome team! Catherine Chapman and her staff were professional, communicative, and had our best interests in mind right at the start, from working out all of the last-minute details to staying in touch in the weeks following our wedding. They worked to ensure all of our needs were met – from food allergies to necessary photo breaks – and when we had questions or needed a last-minute change in our plans, they did everything they could to go above and beyond our expectations.\n\nThe biggest takeaway we heard from our guests was how amazing the food and beverages were, and we couldn't agree more. At cocktail hour, the hors d'oeuvres were passed frequently, the appetizer stations were a hit, and the bar staff was excellent at keeping the lines moving. At the reception, there wasn't a clean plate in the entire ballroom.\n\nWe also appreciated that the venue had great recommendations for vendors. They were absolutely crucial in making the planning and execution of our big day everything we could have wanted. They are both caring professionals and are excellent at what they do. They accommodated our every wish and desire and provided thoughtful feedback when necessary.\nOne of our favorite aspects of the venue was the \"pay-it-forward attic\". The food was spectacular, the tent was beautiful, and the lake views were amazing. But the real stars of the show were the hospitality and service from Kim and other staff members at the Loon Lodge. They went above and beyond the entire weekend. Everyone at our wedding sung the praises of the staff including their hard work, friendly demeanors, and their creativity to fix things when unexpected things happened. For example, when the florist’s arbor fell over and broke, the florist attempted to hold it together using ribbons and flowers that looked awful. Kim immediately fixed it using fishing line and it ended up looking beautiful as the fishing line wasn’t even noticeable and especially won’t be seen in pictures. Kim also tried extremely hard to have the ceremony outside despite forecasts of rain. Having the ceremony outside was the one thing I really wanted to happen that weekend. Kim was constantly checking the forecast that day and saw that there would be a window of opportunity without rain and at the last minute made an outside ceremony happen. Additionally, I didn’t realize that we never assigned someone to be in charge of the cake-cutting. Kim saw it was not being cut and went out of her way to cut everyone a slice of cake. There were many moments like this and I’m sure way more that happened behind the scenes that we weren’t privy to. The bartenders and other staff members, especially the chef, also did a fantastic job. Choosing the Loon Lodge Inn for our venue was the best decision I made regarding wedding planning. My now husband and I plan to return here for an anniversary trip one day. A water and mountain view. It's easy to say that Brewster's newly renovated Rogers Building fits the bill perfectly. As a graduate of Brewster, it was incredible to see this space take on a new form that is perfectly designed for an array of purposes and functions. The general aesthetic is modern and sleek but also allowed us to decorate and customize the space for our reception. Having a kitchen and bar steps away from the seating area allowed for easy access to food and drinks while still having room for 20 guest tables and a dance floor. There was plenty of space for our DJ with ample room for speakers, uplighting, and more. The service we received was stellar. The kind staff was friendly and helpful throughout the night and went above and beyond to provide a quality atmosphere and fantastic food to our guests. \n\n\n\nMy husband and I were thrilled to be the first couple to use this space for their wedding reception.
