Q: What do you wear?

Our go-to is concert black (that is, head to toe, professional black) but we can be more formal (with tuxedos and long dresses), less formal (suits or day wear), or match your color palette!

Q: Do you learn new songs?

Absolutely! We love learning new music and add to our library every single day.

Q: Do you provide music for wedding ceremonies or cocktail receptions?

Yes! We're typically booked for both the wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. It is becoming more popular to request that we play for the dinner part of the reception as well.

Q: How early do you come to set up?

It is so important to us to make sure your wedding day runs smoothly. Our players will be set up at the venue at least 1 hour early.

Q: What are your sales taxes?

There is no sales tax on performance services in Connecticut :)

Q: Do you provide other services?

Yes! We offer ceremony sound. Our Bose speaker system ensures high-quality sound that is true to life, without altering the sound of your voice or adding echo. Plus, it's battery-powered, so it's perfect for outdoor and indoor ceremonies alike. We include up to 2 wired microphones on stands.

Q: What is your travel and break down fee?

Our travel fee is based on the distance, if any tolls are required, and if there is a fee for parking at your venue. We rarely include a separate travel fee and will build it into your quote so there are no hidden charges. Our set-up and breakdown time is included in our performance fee and is not a separate charge.

Q: Do we need to meet in person to plan?

We know how wedding planning is! Driving everywhere to meet with all your vendors is time consuming. All details can be addressed over the telephone, Zoom, or via email. But if you prefer, I would be happy to meet with you at my studio in Southington.

Q: What do you require for setup?

We will need one armless chair per musician. If there isn't significant light for us to read our music, please let us know so we can bring our stand lights. In this case, we will need access to a working power outlet. For electric ensembles, please make sure we have access to a working power outlet (2 plugs are needed).

Q: How much space do you need?

We need room to move our bows without hitting objects or people. We also need lighting or access to electrical outlets to plug in stand lights. A string quartet will require a performance space equivalent to 8' x 8'. The trio requires 8' x 6'. The duo requires 6' x 4'. We will also need somewhere to keep our instrument cases while we are playing. (Under a table, or the nearest closet will do!)

Ariana is a total pro, with a warm and can-do attitude that made planning fun. Most of all, her music is absolutely beautiful. She advised us on amplification and the best music to make our ceremony magical, including customizing our processional songs. Highly recommend!

Ariana and her team were one of the highlights of our wedding! Having them play during our ceremony and cocktail hour brought a touch of class and an elegance that everyone enjoyed. Our guests were very impressed. They did a fabulous job playing each song, very skilled artists. Not only were they great musicians, they were super friendly, very professional, and organized. Ariana was very helpful during the planning process with questionnaires/forms, meetings, etc. There’s a plethora of music to choose from, a large array from different genres and eras.
