DJ Sunset

I have loved music since a kid. I grew up listening to old Motown, Michael Jackson, Prince, OutKast, Wu-Tang Clan, Jimi Hendrix and Hall & Oates. I watched Video Soul on BET and of course I was a MTV kid like any good 80's baby. I became the resident DJ for 78th Street Studios "Third Friday Art Walk", courtesy of Northcoast Promotions in 2022. I infuse sets that varies in genre, style & eras. I strive to provide a set that is enjoyable for all ages. I want to bring you a set that you won't regret and most importantly I want you to have the time of your life.

My business is independently owned and operated, which allows me to give each client the individual attention they deserve without missing any details. With a background in hospitality, I understand the importance of making you happy and going out of my way to meet your needs.

DJ/MC services for receptions only (4-5 hours). Initial In-Person meeting (within 30-mile radius) and/or Unlimited Zoom meeting(s)   Playlist Partnership (including must play/must not play) & music preparation Basic lighting (from speaker stands) Choice of dj facade design (from four available choices) Final planning meeting  Planning with wedding coordinator Announcements & introduction of wedding party Set-up and breakdown 

A Sunset Rendezvous

Description

DJ/MC services for cocktail hour and receptions (5-6 hours). Everything from the “Sunset Smooth & Classic” package plus the following:   Dancefloor lighting Wireless mics (3) made available for toasts and/or speeches 

A Sunset Matrimony

Price$1,500

Description

Everything from the previous packages plus the following:  Entertainment for the entire day Ceremony song planning (prelude, processional & postlude)  Lapel mics for officiant (if necessary) Additional speakers for outside ceremony, to play music in separate locations

    We had a blast with DJ Sunset! He’s one of the most fascinating DJs to hit the area. He came down from the Cleveland market to DJ our event—and boy, did he get us on the floor!     DJ Sunset was fantastic and exactly what we were looking for! He is professional, flexible, detail oriented and works hard to make sure your event goes smoothly. We waited a little late in the process to book a DJ for our wedding and were extremely lucky DJ Sunset was available and able to make the trip down to Columbus! Everyone had a great time on the dance floor and didn’t want the party to end! Would highly recommend!

    We hired DJ Sunset for Great Lakes Brewing Co's Halloween Bash in 2024, and it as by far the best decision we made. He not only went above and beyond by coming in costume and providing lighting, he tore the house down! Knows how to read the crowd, know how to keep the dance floor going and the people sweating. 10 out of 10 would recommend and plan to utilize his services again this year.
