We will also pay attention to the details big and small as well as reading the crowd through out the night to play the right songs at the right time. Accommodating: if you want it you got it. We offer an easy-to-use app to help the planning process. We conduct a thorough consultation to ensure that we know exactly what you want and what you don't want on your big day. This also means that every request no matter how specific is taken seriously.

Chris was our DJ for our wedding, and he did an incredible job! Chris played a wide mix of music that fit our eclectic music taste. Uur guests had a blast, and the vibe was perfect throughout the evening. Highly recommend!

I used Summit Events Co. for my December '24 wedding and could not recommend them more! DJ Ben was SO fun and really kept the party alive. He was such a pleasure to meet with ahead of time and asked us tons of questions to really understand our vision for the evening. He was truly a delight and even wore black, per my very annoying request :) He also had me get on the DJ board (just pretending) and it was a huge hit! Very fun, very adaptable! Summit Events Co. uses an app for all of your music and timeline needs and it was SUPER easy to use. It connects to Spotify, Youtube, and a few other platforms so I could just upload my playlists I had already worked on and it made everything really fast. We also got a photobooth which was AMAZING. It's hard to know when planning a wedding what is worth the extra cost but this hands down was worth it. Our attendant was such an angel and multiple people came up to me after to tell me how cool she was! Their pricing is super reasonable - very in line with other vendors I found and Ben was able to accommodate our specific budget while still making our vision come to life. Overall I would highly, HIGHLY recommend Summit Events Co!

We used Summit Events for our up lighting too - highly recommend as it was a great way to turn the room from a classy dinner reception to a dance party in one click! The sound quality was great for both speeches and music; we wanted to make sure guests could hear speeches clearly and we had no issues at all even though it was a large room. I also appreciated the Vibo app that we used to plan out our ceremony, entrances, first dances and our playlist for the night - it was a great tool that kept songs and notes in one place. Unfortunately, our DJ, Ben, made several critical mistakes that disrupted key moments of our ceremony and reception. I feel compelled to share my experience so others can make a more informed decision.\n\nFirst and foremost, he played the wrong version of the song for the processional (instrumental instead of the version with lyrics). This was one of the most important moments of the ceremony, and it was incredibly upsetting to hear the wrong song as I walked down the aisle. To make matters worse, he played the completely wrong song for the mother-son dance. The DJ company uses an app where you pick and choose the exact songs for every moment, and I spent hours filling out the questions and selecting songs. It seemed that the app wasn’t even used—after the wedding, I double-checked to confirm the correct versions were selected.\n\nAdditionally, I had requested that the mother-daughter dance be “edited” to skip from the first chorus to the second, but instead of smoothly skipping, he randomly scrubbed through the song to a completely different section. This completely threw off the rhythm and ruined the moment.\n\nAs if that wasn’t bad enough, Ben referred to me, the bride, by the wrong name multiple times throughout the event. This happened often enough that guests in the crowd would shout “that’s not the bride!” or correct him by saying “the bride’s name is ___.” This was a huge mistake, and honestly, it felt disrespectful and careless, especially on a day meant to celebrate our love and union.\n\nOn a positive note, Ben did a good job with song requests and kept people on the dance floor during the reception, but unfortunately, those moments didn’t make up for the significant mistakes during the ceremony and special dances. The photo booth service was also excellent—10/10 stars. The operator was kind and helpful, going above and beyond by using our Polaroid camera to take extra pictures of people posing or throughout the crowd. She also made sure we received a copy of every photo booth picture in an album, which was a wonderful keepsake.\n\nOverall, my sense is that perhaps the DJ overbooked himself, as our wedding was on a Sunday, and it seemed like he wasn’t able to give our event the attention it deserved. Given how important these moments are, I would recommend couples to think carefully before hiring this DJ. Something I had never experienced before but he came up to me during the evening and told me personally himself that it was his equipment disturbing mine which was incredibly difficult to solve in the moment. I apologize I did not bring the best version of myself the following evening for your wedding with everything still in flux but I felt responsible to be the one there as your DJ. I’m sorry for the impact it had on your wedding. I take this profession very seriously and work so hard to ensure hundreds of couples have amazing weddings. I was really nervous about the music because I personally don't consider myself very knowledgeable about music or how to create playlists, and not only was he patient and had a million awesome suggestions, the company as a whole has a really handy questionnaire to learn about you and understand what it is you're looking for, so the process is easy and stress-free. They were very proactive about making sure every detail was discussed and clear, and really just the most wonderful vendor of all the ones we hired! \n\nIn particular I can't praise Chris enough - he had such a perfect read of our crowd, created an amazing playlist perfectly suited to my and my husband's dorky music taste, and he was so good about communicating with us throughout the whole reception when it came time for father/daughter mother/son dance, intro music, etc. We changed plans last-minute on him for what songs we wanted for intro and he took it in stride and worked so well with us. I appreciated all the services offered because like most couples planning a wedding, we wanted as few vendors as possible and upon hearing Summit Events and their wide variety of packages, we immediately knew Ben was the right fit for our 200 black tie wedding! Ben is so knowledgeable and an expert in all things lighting, music, and sound. Ben worked with us for months through various in-person and phone call meetings, even coming to our venue to do a walk-through with us to ensure everything would be perfectly organized and pre-selected/arranged for the wedding day. He assisted us in selecting the various colored uplights and general lights for different portions of our reception. The guests were in awe with all the changing colors and lighting effects, the vibe changed from chill/relaxed dinner hues to flashing/colored lights for the dancing portions, and everything in-between, it was amazing! Now for the music! In the months leading up to the wedding, Ben generously gave us so much time and energy in helping us create different vibes for the different portions of the reception. He understood our vision and ran with it! His app was user-friendly (even for the most un-technologically inclined person such as myself) and allowed us to add songs to different portions of the day, and also detailed notes about introductions, speeches, and anything else we wanted him to know/do. The wedding day was flawless! Ben was an enthusiastic, fun, and wildly upbeat DJ! The sting quartet (for our ceremony and cocktail hour) and band (for the majority of the reception) were phenomenal! We choose an 8-person band with 2 vocalists and primarily string instruments. All the musicians were so talented and all the music was beautiful. Jason (my new favorite person) was the lead singer and an amazing vocalist/musician. He also met with us multiple times, in person and on the phone, to make sure he understood exactly what our vision was and the type of music we wanted played at various portions of the day. He was kind, knowledgeable, and patient (even when we told him about our surprise bridal flash mob dance)! He personally composed various musical arrangements with the instruments/songs we requested, his passion and talent were unsurpassed! Jason and the band were SO much fun! Their stage presence was the best of any band I've seen, they were engaging, high-energy, and sounded incredible. Guests were raving all evening and are still talking about how amazing our band/DJ sounded! Our guests danced all night and you couldn't pull anyone away from the dance floor! I met Ben at a wedding expo and at the end of the day, I won a door prize for a gift card for his team's services. I have to admit, my husband and I were skeptical about having a DJ at our wedding because we had a very small party (about 40 people) and were nervous about how much people would dance. However, after meeting with Ben we were really impressed with how much care was taken with each step of the day. We had an officiant and he was able to equip her with a microphone and played the procession music. We used the gift card to assist us in adding a guitar player for cocktail hour (huge hit and really beautiful). Once the speeches were over, Ben took over and literally everyone was up dancing for the rest of the night. We got SO MANY compliments on that portion of the evening. I am not even a big dancer at weddings and I couldn't stop. He made our night great. Not to mention, he kept checking in on us and asking if we were good. The sweetest. Lastly, as we were leaving my husband and I accidentally both tipped him separately and when we discussed it the next day we just said, \"Eh, totally worth it\".
