JCakes is an award-winning custom cake bakery, located in North Branford, Connecticut, specializing in gourmet wedding cakes and cupcakes. JCakes turns scrumptious ingredients into stunning works of art in three steps: 1) Cake- JCakes begins with a freshly baked, moist cake 2) Filling- The cake is then filled with homemade, hand whipped fillings (nothing comes pre-made from a tub). 3) Frosting- Cakes are frosted with your choice of flavored French buttercreams or rich chocolate ganache, or expertly covered in rolled fondant

    Such a pleasure to work with the team at JCakes. They came highly recommended by our venue, Bill Miller's Castle. And were able to provide a variety of cupcakes for our guest along with the modest wedding cake we worked with them to design. They also went above and beyond in picking up our Italian cookie order from a nearby bakery on their way to drop off our desserts for our wedding day. Everything was delicious and guests walked out of our wedding with armfuls of Tupperware we had provided to take home the leftover dessert. We will absolutely use them again!

    J Cakes made me the vintage inspired wedding cake of my dreams. Their piping and detail work was unparalleled, yet their pricing was also very competitive (150 less than another CT bakery we were looking at) which is a dream combination. On top of that the cake was absolutely DELICIOUS!
