I'm a dreamer, a maker, a memory curator with a love for the written word. I have a master's in laughter, and am a world renown mess maker. I’m a wannabe world changer, a devoted pray-er, and an avid forgiver. I’m a barefoot kitchen dancer, a hammock reader and sun seeker, an accident-prone adventurer... and hopefully, when I look back, a professional life-rider and full-fledged compassion giver.

To me, bringing someone joy on the most special day of their life is both a privilege and a blessing. From initial contact to executing the vision for the big day, I believe each of my soon-to-be-married couples deserves to be treated with the same love and attention that I poured into my own wedding. To this day, my favorite part of the floral design process is watching a bride's face light up at the sight of her bouquet, each given with a single wish: that her marriage continues to flourish and bloom in the most spectacular ways.

I can't say enough good things about Jessica and Fleurish & Bloom! Throughout the entire planning process she was organized, detailed, communicative, and super knowledgeable about how to bring my floral vision to life. She was flexible with changes I wanted to make and had great ideas for how to incorporate all of the colors and flowers I wanted to include in my bouquets AND helped me get the most out of my floral budget. On my wedding day she greeted me with my GORGEOUS bouquet and her kind, calm demeanor. The florals at my ceremony site were exactly as we discussed, if not better, and she even made sure to add a few extra flower to the signs, which made everything look very cohesive. She repurposed all the ceremony flowers to my reception space without compromising quality, and again did a fantastic job executing my vision for our table flowers and candles. I have had SO many people remark on how stunning the florals were, and I have to completely agree. I couldn't have imagined better!

We are so grateful to have had Jessica from Fleurish & Bloom as our wedding florist! She was an absolute joy to work with—sweet, creative, supportive, and incredibly attentive throughout the entire process. The bouquets she created for me and my bridesmaids were absolutely stunning, and they perfectly captured the style and vibe we were hoping for. On the day of the wedding, she even built a gorgeous flower arch onsite just hours before the ceremony—it was breathtaking and one of our favorite décor elements. What really stood out was how budget-conscious she was. Whenever we had new ideas or last-minute requests, she always found thoughtful ways to make them happen without adding unnecessary cost. We worked with Fleurish and Bloom Florals for our wedding, and I can honestly say it was a perfect experience from start to finish. She didn’t just create beautiful floral arrangements—she helped bring our entire wedding vision to life. From the very beginning, she was incredibly thoughtful and organized. She sent detailed questionnaires to get a feel for the look I was going for, then created a custom “menu” of floral options that gave me a clear sense of how everything would come together. It was such a helpful and creative way to collaborate. Beyond the florals, she sourced and provided so many other elements—like our ceremony arch, candles, and centerpiece vases—which made planning so much easier. On the day of, everything was set up beautifully and on time. Fleurish & Bloom is proud to serve wedding couples in the Commonwealth of Virginia and beyond! All of our full service packages include our delivery fee.

We believe every couple deserves a beautiful wedding at a budget that's comfortable for their individual situation. For that reason, F&B has established three tiers of floral packages. On average, full service couples invest $5000+ for 100-150 guest count, partial service couples invest $2500, and DIY couples invest $1500.

The very first step in F&B's client onboarding process involves a face to face meeting (either in-person or digitally) to get to know each other, discuss your needs and vision for your wedding florals, and review beautiful design inspiration suited to your wedding vision. Meetings last approximately one (1) hour. Information about your desired designs (including inspiration images) and budget is helpful to have, but we understand that wedding plans change. You DO NOT need to have all of the details of your event planned before your meeting. Our designers are here to help you!

All full service packages include flower breakdown and retrieval of F&B rental items such as vases and ceremony structures.

The industry standard for booking wedding florals used to be six months. These days, F&B's weekends (especially spring and fall) are booking much faster - sometimes more than a year and a half in advance. For that reason, the sooner you contact F&B, the more likely we are to be available to serve you on your wedding day.

Sample meetings/mockups of centerpieces and/or bouquets are available to all full service clients at wholesale cost plus sales tax. Those clients wishing to book a sample meeting with Fleurish & Bloom should do so no later than three (3) months before your wedding date.

During your consultation, we will go over all the gorgeous in-season floral offerings available for your wedding date. We love supporting local growers and regional flowers and greenery!

Yes! We offer a variety of rentals for an additional cost from aisle runners to candelabras, arches, candles, mirrors, and more. Get in touch to see our full list.

At this time, F&B cannot offer flower preservation. However, we’re happy to recommend a few local vendors who provide this service. Just let us know! We reccomend all couples wishing to preserve their wedding flowers book these services well in advance of your event to account for time sensitive shipping and delivery.

We're a small team here at fleurish & bloom, and we like it that way. It allows us to forge unbreakable bonds with our teammates, fellow wedding vendors, and clients. In order to best serve each of our clients, F&B limits our full service events to one per week, with the exception of multi-day events (think multiple wedding events over the course of one weekend for the same couple).

F&B's Owner and Lead Designer, Jessica Samsing, has over a decade of experience in floral design. Throughout nine of those years, Jessica has focused exclusively on weddings and events, serving more than 70 wedding couples.
