Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

Typically, I just charge for flight and hotel accommodation for out-of-state/international bookings. Are you getting married at one of your bucket list locations, you can save significantly by asking about this. This whole process should be pain-free for you. I want you to be able to quickly and easily understand the actual cost of your wedding photography so we can start talking about the fun stuff sooner.

Yes, as your professional wedding photographer, I will retain the copyright of all your wedding images. However, I always provide an official copyright release for you allowing unlimited personal use and printing of your wedding photos. Since copyright stuff is pretty serious and dull, I can't make any good jokes about it. Bummer.

Yes, but only after the first 60 miles. I typically just charge for miles, gas, and tolls if applicable. For 6 or more hours of coverage and over 70 miles, clients are responsible for providing a one-night stay at a nearby hotel. The reason for this is because I find working a 6 or more hour wedding, I am exhausted by the time it is time for me to drive home. For out-of-state and international bookings, clients are responsible for flight and hotel accommodations.

After 5 hours of coverage, clients are required to provide the photographer(s) with a meal. Depending on the amount of hours coverage will determine if I have a break. I would take my breaks during "downtime" just so no important moments are missed.

Documenting your wedding day requires me to be excellent at several styles of wedding photography. On a typical wedding day, there will be times when I need to work in a contemporary style, a documentary style, a fine art style, or an editorial style. A wedding album isn't complete without stunning portraiture, and Mom will kill you if we don't get some traditional posed photos made. But if I have to label myself, I would say my work is a blend of documentary and contemporary portraiture with a moody twist.
