Beautiful, affordable florals!

We used Poppy Florals for our wedding and were very happy with the experience! From the beginning, they were helpful, responsive, and made the entire process easy — especially for someone like me who doesn’t know much about flowers. I shared my vision and they brought it to life beautifully. The bouquets and centerpieces were absolutely gorgeous and held up so well throughout our fully outdoor July wedding. The arrangements were fresh, elegant, and exactly what I had hoped for. About a week before the wedding, we ended up needing four additional centerpieces due to adding more tables. Since it was so close to the date, Poppy wasn’t able to update the order, which was a little disappointing — but ultimately, it worked out fine as we brought our own vases for those tables. Overall, I would absolutely recommend Poppy for anyone looking for beautiful, affordable florals for their wedding. They made the process easy and the results were stunning!

We had a great experience working with Poppy Flowers for our wedding. Their process was super straightforward, and their website made everything easy to plan. We met with Adrienne, who clearly explained how everything would work, and their on-site team did an amazing job bringing it all to life on the day. We sent just a few inspiration photos, and they customized all the arrangements. We were especially happy with the bridal and bridesmaids bouquets, the ceremony centerpiece clouds, the table arrangements, and the elegant single-flower vases scattered throughout. Everything looked incredible at a great price. We couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out.

Our florals on our big day were BREATHTAKING. Our green and white florals were beautiful and exactly what I had hoped. They received so many compliments. The arrangements were beautiful and held up the entire night. The only reason for taking away a star was that the deadline for ordering was quite early (way before I knew how many tables we would need!) and I wish my consultant had told me to round up or had a more explicit discussion regarding the contract and expectations. However, I would still work with Poppy Flowers again in a heartbeat!

Poppy Flowers was fantastic! Their entire process was so easy, transparent and stress-free. It was easy to choose what we wanted our florals to look like and our call with our floral consultant really helped crystalize the details for the day. Pricing was transparent, which we really appreciated as it helped us stay within our budget. Most importantly though, our arrangements, bridal bouquet and bridesmaid bouquets on our wedding day were GORGEOUS. Highly recommend choosing Poppy for wedding florals. It was the least stressful part of wedding planning!

It’s never too early to get in touch about your wedding, but we recommend having a few details figured out before you do. For example: Have you selected the location for your ceremony and/or reception? What’s your wedding style? Do you know how many guests you’ll be expecting? While we can service some weddings as near as 3-4 months out, typically, our couples reach out around 6 to 8 months before their big day. We also book weddings more than 12 months before the wedding date.

Please look for other small business vendors around the area instead.\n\nMy fiancé searched on Google for affordable floral companies after seeing me have a meltdown on 10k floral quotes. He suggested to use Poppy Flowers. I had a quick consultation meeting with one of the workers there and she reassured me they were able to bring my dreams into reality. It sounded too good to be true. We signed up on their portal and began chatting to them about what we want. From December to May, we shared maybe 20 chats and a total of 1 Zoom meeting, and most of the time they were tardy with their replies… We were not super confident with the services as this point. Our total order cost was 4400 including 700 for set-up and ceremony reception “flip” - this 700 does not include breakdown!!\n\nFast forward to May, we decide to cancel our event due to extenuating circumstances - and obviously I cancelled my floral order. I emailed the company and it took them a few days to get back to me. They offered and insisted on 50% refund even though we cancelled the order 3 months prior to our wedding date. I want to note that there were no contracts whatsoever that we signed when we placed a down payment for their service, nor was there a link/documentation for their Terms & Conditions. The first time I saw T&C document was when I googled for it myself. It was VERY well hidden.\n\nI totally understand their services came at no cost even though we never received physical goods from them nor did they prepare anything else for us, but we truly believe what we received from them did not equate to 2200. In fact, I spoke to more florists around the area and they’ve had customers give the same bad reviews for Poppy, either their floral orders did not come as advertised, flowers were half dead on their wedding day, they did not receive floral details until a week prior to their wedding, and more…\n\nAfter this incident, I encourage all brides to REALLY REALLY look at the fine print to save yourselves this headache of a mess 2200 is a lot of money and I am heartbroken this happened. Then it started to feel like every move I made bumped the price up….which I learned is typical of the wedding industry but, I digress. \n\nI initially thought Poppy wouldn’t be as expensive as it ended up being for what we got. But it adds up really quickly. To save a TON of money, we ended up DIY-ing our centerpieces, cake display, flower crowns, to save a few bucks (through Flower Moxie) and surprisingly loved them more than the florists I invited some guests/bridal party to help make them and it ended up being a highlight of our wedding week - sidenote! \n\nAnyway - to sum up, if you have a healthy budget for florals and aren’t picky (I didn’t think I was but realized I am!) I absolutely loved the blush traditional bouquet for me and my bridesmaids and the blush romantic garden flower clouds. The clouds were PERFECT to top each of the wine barrels that served as our altar. We were complimented a lot on the clouds. Overall, could not have been happier with Poppy. They break down the process and steps, making it super easy, almost to the point that it doesn’t feel real. \nTo start, you meet with a floral consultant where you talk through your wedding details, the vibe you’re going for, the general needs, etc. Then they walk you through a list of various wedding floral options: bouquets, table arrangements, signage florals, ceremony florals, etc., and you start to narrow down what you want. In each section, they have a grouping of photos, and you can either select something from that or ask for more options. You can also tweak what they have shown (I picked florals that had eucalyptus in them and requested everything be switched to ruscus). After that, you have a while to go back in and adjust until a deadline, but they accommodated some last-minute adds I had as well.\n\nOur consultant was Sophia, and she was super responsive and wonderful to work with. Closer to the wedding, you get assigned a local florist who does the actual designing/styling and installing, and we were lucky enough to get Ron, who matched our inspo images EXACTLY. Everything was so beautiful, and I was so in love with my bouquet.
