Our Wedding hair and makeup Glam Squad is a carefully cultivated crew of the best stylists in Michigan. We all have several years of experience in the wedding industry and are devoted to bringing you confidence on your wedding day with your perfect style of hair and makeup.

The Pretty Committee is the go to hair and makeup team for destination weddings. Expert bridal makeup artists and hair stylists travel from coast to coast. Headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan & now we have built beauty roots in the San Francisco Bay Area too. Our team of beauty experts has been published in 10 global bridal & beauty magazines, worked in 12 destination states and 7 countries.     I’m extremely happy with the services that my bridesmaids and I received from Mayra Aguiar (hair/makeup) and Chris Pham (hair) for my wedding day! During my hair/makeup trial, each listened intently to what I wanted, made expert recommendations, and the results on wedding day turned out perfectly. Mayra and Chris both have a calm presence and worked efficiently, completing hair for 10 of us and makeup for 4 of us all before noon. The girls and I got many compliments on our hair and makeup — I loved that we all had unique buns based on each girl’s preference. And my makeup stayed on the whole night (it also made a fantastic recovery after I cried during the private vow exchange before the ceremony). Thank you both so much for sharing your talents and making us feel ready for the day’s celebrations!

    I was initially intrigued by this business due to the transparent pricing & quick responses by the team. I was slightly apprehensive as TPC is based out of Grand Rapids, and I didn't see a ton of reviews from the Bay Area - but wow, am I glad I went with TPC. Katya was AMAZING! Clear communication & an expert in her craft. I showed my hairdresser a photo from my trial & he said "wow, she's good, wait...she does hair AND make-up?" Katya's talent is unmatched. She was incredibly kind & was a great sport when my MOH & I wanted to watch Real Housewives while she got us all ready. :) For future brides: TPC is a "collaborative" that works with HMU artists in different areas across the country. They pair you with a local HMU artist, you have a phone consult, then a trial is scheduled. From there, they provide you with a schedule for day of, and you can communicate with them and/or your HMU artist to coordinate. It was a breeze to just work with one person, and the results were wonderful. We felt gorgeous, and comfortable to speak up (Katya was great with feedback). 10/10!

    I am so glad I decided to work with The Pretty Committee for my wedding! The girls I worked with were so friendly and everything ended up looking perfect. The company was very flexible while scheduling my hair and makeup trial. All of my bridesmaids were very happy too.

    They just did our wedding and Rachel and Izzy are great for hair and makeup. The only irritation was makeup on the MOG took an extra hour so it put us behind on the wedding day. That being said at the start of the whole process, email communication was awful and I was not originally quoted for what I said I needed. This caused them to have to send me an additional quote/invoice I had to pay. I was so frustrated at the beginning of the process that I almost canceled them and just lost my deposit. The only reason they are getting 3 stars is because of the stylists otherwise the communication and misquote alone would have put them at 2 stars.
