Matt Sims Officiant is a wedding officiant based in Chantilly, Virginia, serving Northern Virginia. I have a master's in theology and am an ordained pastor. I have a lot of experience working with crowds from my over 15-year career as a public speaker and actor. I am a proud member of the Screen Actors Guild. I am available for ceremonies of varying lengths and styles. I would be delighted to lead your ceremony from start to finish or help you and your loved ones be involved. Consultations are important to come up with a ceremony that is meaningful and memorable. I will provide you with an order of service ahead of your big day.

I was born in England and moved to the USA 16 years ago, but I still have a strong British accent, which would make your ceremony a little more unique sounding! As a pastor, I specialize in Christian weddings and would love to work with you to make your day a special and God-honoring one for you and your new spouse and to be honoring to your family members. Matt Sims Officiant is licensed to officiate weddings in Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, and DC.

    Matt was the perfect wedding officiant! In preparing for the wedding, he sent us all the resources to help plan the flow and content of our ceremony. Matt was always quick to respond and answered all of our questions. He was up for all of our ideas and when the day came, he executed the script we requested in the absolute best possible way. Matt really set the tone for our wedding, and it was even better than we had anticipated. To top it off, he even mailed in our marriage license for us! We are beyond pleased with Matt and highly recommend him.

    Matt did an absolutely fantastic job officiating our wedding! He was thorough in describing the process and answered any questions we had with ease. He was also very flexible and offered great suggestions for our ceremony script, even offered to hop on a call to discuss ideas. We received so many compliments on how great the ceremony was and we can't thank Matt enough for marrying us!
