We would absolutely recommend Jen to anyone looking to get married. Even though we were just eloping, we wanted an officiant to help us through the whole process so that we didn't get lost or skip any steps. Jen was that and so much more. We had multiple meetings with Jen prior to our wedding, during which she got to know us and our relationship, gave us advice regarding the ceremony, and helped us write our own vows. Her vow-writing guide is beyond spectacular and helped us create an incredibly special moment during our ceremony with our self-written vows. On top of it all, the ceremony that she wrote for our wedding was beautiful. She started out by helping us ground ourselves in the moment so that we could truly feel/appreciate what we were doing. The ceremony was intimate, personalized, and full of inspirational stories/quotes that related to marriage and our views on it. Every aspect was organized and intentional and it made for a wonderful moment that we'll remember for the rest of our lives. Jen is kind, creative, and amazing at what she does. We had a wonderful wedding and a large part of that is thanks to Jen.

I have been officiating weddings for a decade now, and have worked with hundreds of couples to craft beautiful and affirming ceremonies. That said, I have facilitated rituals of all kind kinds for 25 years or so... Ritual & ceremony are my first loves, and weddings naturally flowed out of my deep appreciation of ceremony.

I don't really offer un-personalized ceremonies, so yes, of course! The ceremonies are that much richer and deeper when we get to know each other and I can bring you -- your vision, values & joys -- into the ceremony. From fully custom to somewhat customized, all of my offerings are tailored to you.

Yes! Many couples have a deep desire to have a ceremony, even if a marriage license has already been signed. Sometimes this happen a month after legal marriage, sometimes a year after, but if you feel called to celebrate your marriage with your family and friends cheering you on, that is a good call to follow.

I do not provide pre-marital counseling, but the process we undertake with a custom ceremony provides the opportunity to slow down and reflect on your relationship and what matters most to you. A premarital process as it were, rather than counseling. That said, I am also a certified Jungian coach (think depth coaching) and would be delighted to work with you one on one.

I love attending rehearsals -- it gives us the opportunity to start setting the tone for your nuptials. It is including in the price, but I cannot guarantee my availability. When I cannot attend your rehearsal, we'll have a pre-ceremony coaching call the week of the wedding so I can pass along some tips for a smooth ceremony.
