Ellen Davis - Lead Photographer and Owner

Meet Ellen, a Southern California native and seasoned visual storyteller: I've been photographing events and portraiture since 2017 and specialize in destination weddings and elopements. For me, the best part about being a photographer is getting to witness my client’s once in a lifetime memories being created and knowing that my work will allow future generations to experience those memories as well. I take on all types of creative photo shoots when I'm not shooting weddings.

I shot my very first wedding 6 days after surviving America's Deadliest Mass Shooting (true story!) in 2017, so I have a unique understanding of the importance of preserving life's most precious memories. Since then, I've documented more than 300 weddings in the U.S. and abroad. I treat every wedding as if it were my best friends getting married, and I pride myself in becoming an honorary member of your family by the end of the day. My goal for each wedding gallery I deliver is to draw tears to your eyes in one moment, have you laughing uncontrollably the next, and leave you with memories immortalized for future generations of your family.

La Sierra University Graduation Couple Photoshoot!

Ellen was very easygoing and fun to work with for our graduation shoot! She was flexible when we needed slight changes in the plans. We had a planning call beforehand, and the photos were returned to us within a few days of the shoot. The number of photos received from her package was higher than many other photographers that we have worked with. They are of excellent quality, and we are happy with them! We highly recommend Ellen to anyone looking for an excellent photographer.

We worked with Ellen about a year ago now and I kept meaning to leave a review, then forgetting, then feeling awful because working with her was AMAZING. I contacted her and asked if she would be able to do a maternity shoot with my husband and me in Death Valley. We arranged everything and even though the weather was windy and somewhat cloudy, Ellen made it work! My husband is not a huge fan of having his photo taken but while Ellen was friendly, she was also down to business and directive (which I asked her to be), and my husband and I both loved how helpful and specific she was. When we got the photos back, I honestly couldn't believe how cool they looked. We are definitely not models but the photos Ellen took belong in a magazine! She told us exactly how to stand, what to do with our hands, where to look, how to swirl my dress, etc and we truly couldn't be happier with the final product. It took me so long to write this review because soon after we got our photos, I had a baby! But I wanted to finally do this because looking back at the pictures we took a year ago brings back so many wonderful memories, and I am truly thankful that we were able to book Ellen. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone for any occasion!
