I created Dear Heart Film + Portraits in college when I realized just how much I love photographing other people. It started with fun-loving seniors and now has developed into capturing adventurous couples who are so unashamedly in love.

From the day we sign our contract, we're a team and I'll be there for you with whatever you need. I help with creating your timeline, providing location and outfit guidance for your engagement shoot, and answering any questions you have along the way.

    Shelby is absolutely amazing, and I could not recommend her enough! Both my husband and I tend to be a bit camera shy, but Shelby created a very comfortable so both our engagement session and our wedding photos were a great experience. I am very grateful for her help during the planning process and she went above and beyond during our wedding.

    We had the best experience working with Shelby! She was super responsive, and very helpful with the planning process. She helped us figure out our day of timeline, and was very organized when it came to photos (what we wanted/didn't want, the vibe, family photos, extended family photos, etc). Super grateful that she was part of our day!
