Pronounced like Eye-lish, I'm a Charlottesville, Virginia wedding photographer. I've been full-time in the industry for 5 years, and I love getting to memorialize weddings for my clients. I have experience in both photography and cinematography, which gives my images a uniquely timeless feel. My experience in film enables me to be unobtrusive, allowing you to experience your day exactly as it unfolds.

I act as an observer on wedding days to create images that are unique to each client. No two weddings ever unfold the same, and I find so much beauty in the individuality of each event I document. The top priority is preserving your experience without distraction. Resulting in photos that are so full of life and uniquely yours that you have a sensory experience when looking back at them. In 20 years, remember your first look and feeling the warmth of the sun, hearing the birds chirp during your vows, and the beat thumping in your chest as you dance the night away.

    Eilish is an artist in the truest form of the word, because every single one of her photos will make you feel something. She photographed our wedding and we literally could not believe how beautifully she captured every moment of the day. My husband and I are probably the most awkward people in front of the camera, but Eilish made us feel 100% comfortable. It never felt like a photo shoot, and because of that, we were able to stay fully present. She brought such a calm, sweet, and grounded energy, and just captured the day naturally as it unfolded. We also set aside some time for couples portraits and it was honestly one of the most relaxed and memorable parts of the day. She and her second shooter, Cecilia, made the day run so smoothly and were true professionals. Eilish had excellent communication with us since we first got in touch, and shared so much helpful information and a detailed questionnaire leading up to the day. It's clear that she puts so much thought and care into each couple that she photographs. And of course, we are SO obsessed with both the film and digital photos that we received in our final gallery! We loved Eilish's style because it is unique, timeless, and nostalgic all at once, and I can't believe we now have our own photos to look at for years to come.

    If you want authentic pictures that will make you feel all of the emotions from your wedding day time and time again, Eilish is your person. If you are reading this review, chances are you have already seen her work and know that it is stunning. I can't even describe the awe of opening our sneak-peeks and film photography. I don't know how our full gallery could get any better, but I know she will somehow continue to deliver way beyond our expectations. She is literally an artist and truly captures the magic of the day. I found Eilish when I was researching a potential wedding venue, and she had written a blog about that venue and had pictures from a wedding she had captured there. I found myself looking through her work of who were complete strangers to me and feeling as if I was part of the day. I felt like I was witnessing the raw emotions the couple was feeling and the little moments between the two of them that went unnoticed to the rest of the guests. Her work showed the candid laughs between the wedding party and the sweet embraces between the couple and their grandparents. I immediately knew I wanted all of that. I wanted all of those little moments captured that would have otherwise been forgotten. The real, unposed, raw moments. That is exactly what we got and we could not be more grateful. Witnessing love is seeing your wedding day captured by Eilish. On top of being wildly talented, she also is extremely responsive, has an awesome guide that answers any questions you could possibly have, and sends out a detailed questionnaire before the wedding day to make sure she captures any little details you want. She is also so sweet and just a great person. For our wedding she had a second shooter, Kelly Spaine, who was equally awesome and literally felt like a ride-or-die capturing all of the wedding picture requests from guests. Both Eilish and Kelly captured our day while also being extremely unobtrusive. We never felt like we were at a forced red carpet event that happened to be our wedding. They were THE best team we could have asked for. Eilish doesn't know it yet, but I have already made sure her website says she does family photos... because we need her for all of our life events. Long review short, if you want pictures you will be proud to pass down for generations... book Eilish.

    Eilish was my favorite vendor that we hired throughout the entire wedding planning process. She was always so genuine and kind in her approach with her work and in her overall demeanor. Working with her was smooth sailing and watching her creative process was an art form.     From the moment I talked with Eilish during a consult, I knew she was the one to document our wedding day. Her laid back but get hit done demeanor was exactly the energy we wanted. Her documentary style of photography was perfect for our wedding day--I feel like everyones genuine emotions were captured perfectly. Eilish is truly an artist and every photo that we received left us speechless. I also LOVE that she shot film and digital throughout the day. She brought such great energy and we were both very comfortable making out in front of her camera. Eilish is the best and we are so grateful that we had her document our wedding day!
