Hi there, I’m Zaida and I’m a full time wedding, portrait and lifestyle photographer (yes, I do destination weddings) based in Fredericksburg, VA and I do travel wherever you need me! I am married to a handsome man and I’m also a mom. I am from the Dominican Republic, raised in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. I capture special moments with creativity and a uniqueness that separates me from the rest. I love to travel, spend time with my husband, play with my little ones, eat and I have a sweet tooth!

Through photography I have found my niche capturing precious moments at weddings and people. I’m not about those awkward “poses”. I wanna create together and dig deeper so I can capture photos of you for who you actually are. I want to capture the little things and the big feelings. I wanna give you something you’ll look back on again, and again that will take you back to these precious moments. There is nothing more rewarding than being able to hold together moments that will be gone in seconds.

Zaida and her husband were incredible. I couldn’t ask for a better team to capture our big day! We discussed expectations and a shot list beforehand and they exceeded my expectations. The sneak peak arrived less than a week after the wedding and the final edits were delivered on time! Not only did they make both me and my husband feel comfortable in front of the camera, but by the end of the night they felt like family. If you’re debating which photographer to go with, Zaida is the one. Highly recommend!

Zaida and her husband were incredible for our wedding day! We had a basic shot list written up, but they helped us put some flare into basic photos. They were both so sweet and very communicative throughout the whole process. They helped make our day truly special and took incredible photos to help us keep those memories forever.
