I am Erica and photography is my passion. It makes me happy that you are here reading this! My photography journey started not too long ago when I was dabbling in product photography for some local jewelers. I had taken some photos of engagement rings by themselves but it didn’t really hit me until I started working with models! From then on I realized I really enjoyed photographing people and connecting with them. Shortly after this revelation, my good friend asked me to take her engagement photos and the rest is history! Ever since I have been photographing every moment I can for my clients!

Erica Bonorden Photography is a wife-and-husband photography team located in Houston, TX. This duo enjoys documenting engagements and all aspects of the wedding journey for all of their couples. They implement a bright, colorful, and candid style to document every moment from when you put the ring on your finger to your first dance.

Working with Erica has been amazing from the very beginning! We first hired her for our engagement photos, and we loved how those turned out so much that it was a no-brainer to have her capture our wedding day as well. Erica is excellent at communication and truly takes the time to understand your vision and what you’re hoping for in your photos. She’s also incredibly friendly and outgoing, which makes it so easy to connect with her. She made us feel comfortable while posing and taking photos, nothing ever felt awkward or forced. We would recommend Erica to absolutely anyone looking for a wedding photographer! She delivered the most beautiful wedding pictures we could have asked for, and was such a joy to work with. My husband and I are both people who don’t really love having our pictures taken but she was able to give us so much guidance and direction that it made it such an easygoing experience, and an enjoyable one too! I also greatly appreciated the fast and thorough communication she provided leading up to our wedding day and the day of. She made our special day all the more special and we couldn’t have asked for anything better!

Erica was so wonderful to work with. She took the most beautiful photos of our engagement and wedding. I absolutely treasure the shots I have. I'm really camera shy and wedding planning was incredibly stressful, so I really appreciate how flexible and patient Erica was. I'm based in Houston and serve the entire metropolitan area, including The Woodlands, Conroe, Katy, Sugar Land, Pearland, and Galveston. I'm also available to travel throughout Texas, covering cities like Austin, the Hill Country, Dallas, and San Antonio. Additionally, I photograph destination weddings across the United States and internationally. No location is off limits!

Most couples book their weddings between 6 months to a year in advance. Portrait sessions are typically booked 1 to 3 months ahead. However, if you're seeking a session sooner, please inquire. If availability allows, we'll gladly accommodate you.

My photography style combines documentary, candid and posed images. I emphasize movement, joy, and authenticity, guiding couples and families gently to capture natural, polished, and engaging photographs.

The number of final images delivered depends on the session duration and type. Typically: Portrait sessions: Galleries delivered within 3 to 4 weeks. Weddings: Galleries delivered within 6 to 8 weeks.

Yes, customizations are available through à la carte options such as film coverage, albums, prints, and additional hours. All wedding packages include complimentary engagement sessions, and a second photographer is included in our 6- and 8-hour packages.

Yes, I travel throughout Texas and beyond. Travel fees within Texas vary based on the specific location. Please inquire directly for exact quotes. Destination weddings outside Texas or the U.S. require customized travel arrangements and pricing; contact me directly for details.

Yes, I carry backup camera equipment to every wedding, and I am fully insured with liability coverage.

A second photographer is included in packages of 6 or 8 hours. For shorter sessions, you may add a second photographer for an additional fee.

Clients receive full printing rights to their high-resolution images. You have the option to order professional prints and albums directly through our store or choose to print elsewhere.

Portrait sessions can be rescheduled due to inclement weather without any additional fees. Weddings, however, cannot be rescheduled due to their unique nature.

The 30% deposit is non-refundable but can be applied as a studio credit toward future sessions. If the remaining balance has not yet been paid, no further payment will be required.

Absolutely! You can request full gallery examples during your inquiry process. Additionally, sample galleries are available on our Gallery page.

After confirming your booking with the initial deposit, we'll discuss your vision and preferred style. Based on this, I'll happily recommend ideal locations for your session.

Yes, engagement and anniversary sessions are available. Engagement sessions are included complimentary with wedding bookings, but you may also purchase them separately.

While I do not guarantee sneak-peek images, I typically aim to send a few preview images within the first few days following the wedding or session, depending on the season's workload.
