When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll find me soaking up life with my high school sweetheart, our beautiful daughter, and our two chocolate Labradors. Felisha is one of the most kind, thoughtful, and insightful photographers who you could possibly hope to work with on your big day. In our first phone call with Felisha, it was clear that she was looking for a connection with her potential clients; she wasn’t trying to sell us her portfolio, and she wasn’t trying to gauge our budget. If you’re looking for a storyteller and someone who wants to build a meaningful connection with their clients, look no further! We wanted a partner in our photographer, someone who could look beyond the standard wedding portraits and find those special, candid moments that we would be missing among all the distractions of the day – and Felisha delivered. From start to finish, we felt like Felisha had our backs and was looking out for our best interests. She listened to us and gave us whatever it was needed on our big day at that moment – whether it was relief from the stresses of the wedding day timeline or a break from the business of our reception. When it came time to review the gallery, we were blown away by the details she captured. It was incredibly special not only to see the beauty captured in the moments, but the feeling we got in our hearts as we relived our wedding weekend. We absolutely love how all our photos turned out! From our engagement shoot to our wedding photos - Felisha made us feel at home & comfortable from day one of meeting her and for that we are forever thankful for her! When choosing a photographer, it was important to my husband & I that we found someone who was personable, creative, had positive energy, and understood our vision. Felisha truly exceeded all of our expectations. She has the kindest heart, is incredibly talented, & captured the most authentic moments of our special day that we will cherish forever. Considering all the emotions of a wedding day, she not only photographed it all, but her composure, professionalism, & ability to adapt helped make the entire day run smoothly. We are also so glad Felisha encouraged us to do an engagement shoot prior to the wedding day as it completely calmed our nerves being in front of the camera; come wedding day, the cameras blended so seamlessly right into the day we hardly noticed them. Felisha Lees Photography was a joy to work with for our wedding. Felisha was so sweet, disarming and easy to work with yet also professional and fast. She beautifully captured all the special moments of our day with both film and digital. Felisha made us feel so comfortable with the photo process and was great at taking pictures of everything going on at the wedding beyond just us.
