*Taking inquiries through my website* Hi, I'm Katy! I've been a photographer and filmmaker for over 18 years and I love working with couples to create beautiful, artistic photos and films! My visual style tends to be soft, earthy & vibrant, with a mix of posed and candid poses.

In 2011, I earned my bachelor's degree in applied media arts (photo/video), and learned the ins and outs of how digital and film cameras work, and even how to build a camera. We feel so very lucky to be able to rave about our wedding photos. (Who is lucky enough to be able to do that?!). Katy photographed our outdoor adventure wedding and was the perfect person for the job. She communicated clearly, showed up early, and went above and beyond. She fit in with our family and friends seamlessly and was able to capture little moments of magic throughout the day. And the photos......far far exceeded our wildest expectations! Everyone who has seen our photos are amazed at how brilliant they are. I cannot say enough great things about Katy. Katy is incredibly knowledgeable, not only in photography, but in many other areas of practice beyond the wedding industry. I believe this eclectic knowledge base enables her to see the bigger picture (pun intended) and planfully ensure that the most precious moments and elements of a couple's wedding are captured! She's always thinking several steps ahead, and always comes prepared. As an event planner, I personally appreciate her communication style which is very clear, thorough, and direct! Overall, Katy is an excellent photographer and a truly kind person to work with!

Katie shot our engagement photos last minute, at a totally new to her spot, at night, in 50mph winds! She handled it all with grace and humor and the photos turned out phenomenal! We couldn't recommend her enough!

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

Depending on whether or not you book a second photographer, you can expect anywhere from 30 to 100+ images per hour of photographing. Keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I have never missed a wedding (knock on wood) but I have covered weddings for others. It’s every photographer’s worst nightmare, so we all typically have each other’s backs and it seems to be pretty easy to find coverage, thankfully!

My turnaround time varies. You’ll be able to view your photos in an online gallery anywhere between 6-12 weeks after your wedding, depending on how booked out I am. You can also purchase professional quality prints and albums directly from your gallery!

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

Yes, additional photographers/videographers can be added on to wedding packages. Occasionally I’ll bring an intern at no additional cost to you.

It depends on a lot of factors, such as how many hours of your wedding we cover and which package you book. It typically ranges between 3-8 minutes.
