We had Lovely Valentine shoot our April 2025 wedding at Pelham House in Dennis MA and I could not be happier! Emilie has been amazing to work with from the start- we LOVED our engagement pictures so we were pretty confident she was going to do an amazing job for the wedding. Emilie and her 2nd photographer Iryna arrived right on time ready to go. They stuck to a schedule but I never felt rushed or stressed by them. Emilie was there while I was getting ready and her calm, laid back energy was just what I needed. They were both so good at navigating the event while being so mindful of my guests. Some weddings you attend, the photographer just seems to be everywhere all the time-blocking guest views etc. I didn’t feel that way at all and yet after seeing my sneak peek photos- I know they captured every detail. Speaking of sneak peak photos, I got those 3 days after my wedding- so fast! I can’t say enough good things about Emilie and her team and wholeheartedly recommend Lovely Valentine!

Where do we even begin? Choosing Lovely Valentine for our wedding was hands down one of the best decisions we made! They took the time to truly get to know us, understand our story, and what mattered most to us. That thoughtful approach, kindness and patience made all the difference and made our experience feel so personal and special. On the big day, Emilie and Jovan were a total pros — they made us feel so relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera (even though we’re definitely not “model” types!). They blended in seamlessly with our guests but still managed to capture every beautiful moment — from the candid laughs to the emotional first look, and all the fun little details in between. And let’s talk about the photos! We were blown away when we saw the final results. Every single shot was absolutely gorgeous and told the story of our day in the most perfect way. We seriously couldn’t stop staring at them! From the soft, romantic shots to the fun, spontaneous moments, each photo felt like a little piece of magic. Our friends and family can’t stop raving about how stunning our photos are, and we are so happy we worked with Lovely Valentine to capture these memories. Emilie, Jovan, and their team were awesome throughout our entire wedding day and made sure they captured all of the small details and big moments! They were super easy to work with and made us feel comfortable from the first engagement photo through to the end of the night on our wedding…and of course the final product was amazing too, we will cherish our photos and video forever. 10/10 would recommend.

Most of my couples book me anywhere from 2 years to 6 months out from their wedding date. The average is a little over 1 year from their date.

Definitely. All final images will be straightened/cropped and edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also edit for blemish removal, teeth whitening and removal of distracting elements when necessary.

Yes! We offer video to capture all the elements of the wedding day in a cinematic style. Final delivery includes a highlight film as well as a full documentary cut showing the full versions of the ceremony, dances and speeches.

We always try to get you teaser photos within 1 week of the wedding date. The rest of the photos take about 4-6 weeks to be edited. They are delivered via a private online gallery where you can download the high resolution images and print wherever you like!

You can expect anywhere from 50 to 100 images per hour of shooting, depending on if you have a package with 1 or 2 photographers. This estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors. For our base Arlington package with 2 photographers and 8 hours of coverage, we generally deliver around 800 images.

We do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

Unless your wedding is very small, we love to shoot with 2 photographers. There is one lead photographer (usually Emilie) and then a second photographer who helps get that second angle during critical times. We love working as a team!

In the very rare event that I’m unable to shoot your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement that matches with the style you've always envisioned. All photos would still be edited in the same style that you love when you hired us.
