My name is Maya (they/them), and I'm a queer, love-obsessed photographer operating out of Pennsylvania and traveling all over. I specialize in weddings and elopements, especially non-traditional, LGBTQ+, and multicultural celebrations. I am the 'picnic elopement in the woods' or 'weekend campsite celebration' or 'screw it, let's get married at a Waffle House' photographer.
I don't vibe with the idea that weddings need to look or feel a certain way. I take photos that showcase the life you've created together, no matter what that looks like or how you celebrate it. As a queer business owner, I offer affirming, inclusive, and authentic photography services so you can relive your best moments over and over again.

Best Wedding Photgrapher Ever
I could not have asked for a better photographer in any respect. Maya is extremely communicative, warm, welcoming, and excellent at what they do. I was incredibly nervous selecting a photographer because I had no idea what I was doing. During my first meeting with Maya, they put me completely at ease and walked me through the process, their photography philosophy, figured out what my spouse and I would/wouldn’t like in our photos, and even helped us get a sense of how our day’s timeline would go. Since we planned the entire wedding ourselves, their help even from this first meeting was invaluable. Maya and their partner the day-of were an absolute blast to have at the event. Even the usual stiff family formal photos felt fun and organic with their guidance, and they were always up for impromptu shots and suggestions. They make sure that their work is organic, dynamic, and really captures the essence of the couple’s relationship. I asked them to use my Polaroid alongside their professional gear and they were really enthusiastic about the prospect, so now I have a set of excellent Polaroids in addition to their amazing high definition work. My spouse and I will absolutely be going back to Maya in the future for more photography. Some advice: Don’t waste your time shopping around with other photographers. If you’ve found Maya, you’ve found the perfect wedding photographer.
This shoot was amazing
Maya was professional, fun, and overall just lovely. They gave great direction and even suggested a wonderful spot to take our photos. We have just peaked at a few photos and my fiance and I are blown away. Maya managed to capture how magical we felt. 10/10 and will keep them in mind for our wedding ceremony
Amazing Person, Amazing Work!
Maya is one of the most wonderful, genuine, and detailed photographers I've ever met, and I've worked with a lot of photographers in my line of work! My partner and I chose Maya first for our engagement photos because of their dynamic, warm style, and ended up enjoying working with them so much that we decided to book them for our wedding! My partner is quite shy and doesn't enjoy his photo being taken, but Maya made him feel so comfortable and confident. We are an LGBTQ couple, and Maya made us feel so valid and loved expressing who we are. Maya was so communicative throughout the whole wedding planning process, and constantly provided us with resources to help us with our general planning. Maya and their co-photographer took so much care and detail on the day of the wedding to get every small detail to every huge moment. Everything worked like literal clockwork, everything felt super chill and fun, and even shooting large family photos (with way too many cousins) ended up being a breeze! Maya truly cares about their work, especially their clients. We could not recommend Maya enough!!!
Amazing Photographers!
Wow! We loved working with Maya. They were so helpful, kind, and reassuring. They went above and beyond, sending a handmade wedding guide, helping with the timeline, offering advice on stylistic choices... Absolutely incredible. AND THE PHOTOS! The photos are gorgeous and feel accurate to the personalities of my husband/me. I can't recommend Maya (and Michael) enough -- book them, you won't regret it!
