Owners

Wendy and I are happily married and live in South Burlington, Vermont! We are both native Vermonters, and we have done over 350 weddings together. Geoffrey has also done over 500 weddings solo. Weddings are not just a career for us, they are our passion. People skills and a big smile are our most important assets. We love doing what we do, and it shows in the finished images.

    Geoff is so talented! Right from the first meet up, Geoff made the entire process so smooth and easy. He answered all our questions quickly and efficiently reducing our stress! He was so professional and approachable at our wedding and was always smiling! The QR codes that he passed to our guests was the perfect addition to our special night! We had access to all of our photos withing a few days, and all our friands and family were able to see them as well. Everyone who has seen our photos have said the same thing: The photos were so beautiful, and Geoff was AMAZING! He made our entire photo process seem effortless. We recommend him hands down as the best photographer around. If you have life memories you want captured, book with Geoff. He is an absolute gem and the best!

    Working with Portrait Gallery was an absolute delight. Geoff’s communication was speedy, helpful, and thorough throughout the entire process. The quality of his work was excellent - he captured all the special moments of our wedding day with an ingenious and flexible approach. When it started raining, the photographer quickly changed the plan and moved all the photography indoors, ensuring we still got the beautiful shots we wanted. We couldn't have asked for a better team to document our special day. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

    Worst rain of the year! I often wonder why I have so many lenses, and the short answer is my kit changes from wedding to wedding! One kit for sunny days, a second different kit for rainy days and indoor photos. 4 cameras and 4 options! At least we got outside with umbrellas for a few photos! Love your ceremony images! The lighting was dark but my 2 low-light lenses saved the day!

    Geoff with Portrait Gallery did an incredible job capturing both our engagement photos and our wedding day. Despite the rain, he managed to get us outside for some beautiful spring shots and made the most of the indoor spaces at The Essex, capturing stunning photos throughout the day. He was able to get all the shots we wanted while staying close to the venue and never missing a beat of the reception. Geoff also captured so many wonderful moments of our friends and family celebrating. His experience, attention to detail, and genuine passion for photography truly shine through in his work. We couldn’t be happier with the results!

    Rainy days can be tough! Of course the Farmhouse at the Essex Resort and Spa is so large and bright it makes doing lots of indoor photos a breeze! I am glad we got outside a few times for photos, in amongst the raindrops. Changed wet shoes 3 times that day! I am so very happy that you found me!

    Perfection is rarely perfect, but I do try! I at least try for 98% haha! Your 2 venues were fantastic! So many photo backgrounds, I did not want to stop! Of course you both look like bridal magazine models, which made my job so easy! I am happy that you are happy!
