My name is Charlie and I have been working weddings in the Detroit area since 2014. I have a variety of experience-- everything from a proposal movie trailer staged at a theater to emergency photography when a wedding experienced a hiccup and photography was needed on short notice. I'm always here to make sure your event runs smoothly and you have beautiful works to remember it by.

The Larson Lens were the perfect wedding videographers for our special day. As a longtime friend, their communication, as always, was professional, generous and prompt. They made our wedding video and took backup photos, providing an amazing service we otherwise would not have even considered. The quality of their work was high-quality, high-value and truly impressive - I am absolutely blown away by the wedding video they made that I watch every year. Charlie's photography is beautiful! They were very easy to work with and super professional. They took hundreds of photos, and had them edited and back to me in just a few weeks. High quality, and a good mix of posed and candid shots. Thank you! :)

Typically, couples book me about 6 - 12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame. (Insider tip: the more information you provide when you reach out, the quicker and more accurate quote I can reply with!)

Definitely. Final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, etc. to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.

Turnaround time varies by season. Sometimes you’ll receive your photos within a week or two, sometimes it will be several weeks. Videos tend to have a longer turnaround than photos. I often send a handful of photos as a sneak peek within a few days and deliver the final edited images digitally so you can download, print, and share with your family and friends.

You can expect around 500 photos, though it varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

In my 6 years of experience, I’ve never canceled a booking, but in these unprecedented times we are taking extra measures to ensure we have a backup plan. I maintain relationships with multiple other photographers and videographers so we can adapt and ensure someone can cover your wedding, whether it means making a referral or sending a replacement, we want you to have coverage for your wedding!

Everyone deserves wedding photos! We strive to be flexible with rescheduling, payment plans, and other reasonable accommodations to suit the current situation. The current national emergency has resulted in restrictions affecting weddings and The Larson Lens complies with executive orders and other safety regulations. We strive for honest and open communication with our clients as things develop.
