Hi there! My name is Tonya, it’s great to meet you! I am a mom to two kiddos who loves capturing memories. If you’re here, that means congratulations are in order on your engagement! Wedding planning, while stressful, is such an exciting journey leading to the start of your lives together. My hope is to capture those moments for you to relive over and over again throughout your lives. I have been photographing weddings since 2018. It’s a joy that I can’t put into words. Seeing two people love one another, capturing the creativity of each individual and unique wedding, it’s something I love having the opportunity to do!

I strive to treat each and every one of my couples as if they are my own family. The big day means just as much to me, as it does to you. Not only will you hire a photographer that is passionate about her career - you will also have someone that is willing to help however they can. Nervous about the timeline? No problem, I’m happy to help guide you along the best path for the most coverage! Worried about not ‘being photogenic?’ Don’t fret, I promise the camera will love you just the way you. That worry is also why I include an engagement in every collection. It gives you the chance to get used to the camera and me a chance to know you!

C’est La Vie was absolutely fantastic to work with her work is beautiful and I would highly recommend booking her for anything you need photography. Photos for my engagement session was gorgeous. My wedding photos are absolutely stunning and she sends sneak peaks very quickly after wedding which is so nice to have while waiting on the other photos. She was great to work with the Day Of and leading up to. She was very reliable and was able to be reached at basically any time of the day I would definitely book her again in the future for anything that I will need photos for. Working with Tonya was wonderful! She was so easy to communicate with! She just photographed my wedding 09/20/2024, with Elizabeth as my second photographer. They were both phenomenal, had such creative ideas, paid so much attention to detail, and they did their best to keep my day as stressless as they could. I would 100% recommend them! To ensure that your date is not already booked, I recommend booking at least 6-8 months prior to your wedding date! This will usually be the sweet spot for booking your wedding, though I am booking into 2026, if you are a planner and an overachiever! :)

Every image you receive will be edited! I do not provide unedited images. I hand-edit each individual photo - whether it be color, saturation, brightness, light blemish retouch - every image will be hand-crafted and provided in a high-resolution download.

No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.

My turnaround times vary based on the season. On average, all wedding galleries will be delivered within 12-15 weeks post wedding. Sneak peeks of your wedding will always be presented to you within 72 hours of your wedding date.

The amount of each gallery will depend on the amount of hours you have in your wedding collection. On average, expect to receive between 40-50 photos per hour that I am there.

I have never cancelled a wedding in the time that I have been photographing weddings. In the unlikely event that something happens to where I can no longer be there on your wedding day, I will either provide you with my assistant shooter OR options to find a suitable replacement. In the event that I am the one to cancel a service, all monies paid will be refunded less any services rendered.

I strive to capture every detail, every stolen kiss, every laugh, tear and smile. My goal is to photograph all of the things you might forget after your day has come to an end. Finding the beauty in the candid moment is what I love to do for every bride, every groom, every story. I won't click once or twice and call it a day, I will click until I am sure I have the absolute perfect memory for you.

I am based in the Metro Detroit area of Michigan. However, I am willing to travel any and everywhere that your journey may take you! A travel fee may apply depending on location - reach out to me and we can discuss!

As always, C'est La Vie Photographie is not responsible for the quality of the photos you receive through print if you choose to use an outside printer. Places like Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, etc. are not professional photography friendly and will often skew colors of professional edits. We recommend using Nations Photo Lab or Mpix if you choose not to purchase directly through us.

Yay! I am SO happy that you have chosen me as your photographer! I cannot wait to get to know you both. To book and hold your date, I require a 40% non-refundable retainer and a signed contract!
