Heyyyyy! I'm Jen, the primary photographer and owner of Visual Poetry. I started this adventure back in 2008 and have been carrying cameras around ever since. I love meeting new people and photographing in new locations. Michigan based, but my passport is up to date and ready for anything! All love is welcome here. I am in love with LOVE, emotion, family bonds, exploring new places, light and the lack thereof. I live for the simple, raw and oh-so-beautiful moments of the in-between. Life is happening RIGHT NOW; Our days are never promised. That’s what makes photography so important to me. The most important things we leave behind when we go are the impacts we made, the differences we created for the good and the memories (and PHOTOGRAPHS!). My work is raw, real, comfortable and edgy. When you browse your images I want you to remember how you felt during them, not just what you looked like.
