Hi, Thanks for reading! Here's my photography short story: 2017, after 13 years of teaching, I said goodbye to the classroom and pursued Olympic weightlifting photography- my company was Everyday Lifters. Shortly after, I launched my wedding business. The Long Version: Weightlifting has taken me to places like Turkmenistan, Germany, & across the country! The weightlifters started getting married, and along the way, I received training to advocate for diverse bodies as a photographer. During this time of transition, I started taking documenting courses through the International Center of Photography and work on documenting local stories.

MY APPROACH It’s finding the interesting, the details, and pockets of light. I believe in minimalism when it comes to photography. Some flash and artistic light are used when needed, but you won’t find me bringing mega-light modifiers. My ideal couples are looking for something different for their wedding photos. They can appreciate the formal portraits but also look forward to being with one another, dancing, and letting the day be.

    Choosing a photographer is always hard, it is even more nerve racking when choosing your wedding photographer. That wasn’t the case when we met and connected with Viviana. Viviana from the start was able to put us at ease and was incredibly welcoming. She was very open and helpful as we navigated the planning process. During the day of our wedding we felt like we were in safe and good hands. We didn’t feel like we had to act a certain way or pose in an inauthentic manner. We felt at ease and like our true selves throughout. Viviana’s approach and warmth helped us be our true selves and embrace the day to its fullest. When we received the photos we were thrilled about how they all came out. We loved that each picture captured a special moment on our special day. Whether that was at our first look, ceremony, or when we hit the dance floor. We included pictures to our friends along with our thank you notes. It was an absolute pleasure to partner with Viviana on our wedding day photography. We highly recommend her and her work for your wedding!

    Viviana is kind, charismatic, and warm on top of being a professional with a wonderful eye. She made our engagement photos and wedding photos magical. It rained on our big day and she took it in stride and created magical ethereal images I will treasure for forever.     I have reached out to Viviana in 2019 for our wedding in May 2020. She was accommodating and gave us a lot of information and We just clicked right off the bat. Our wedding was postponed due to Covid and she was so helpful along the way and making the rescheduling as easy as possible from her end. We got married July 2021 Viviana was amazing. My fiancé and I are not big in to pictures but Viviana made it easy and the pictures were absolutely amazing. Throughout the entire day guests would comment on hell she was all over the place getting such great pictures. She even got pictures that I had no clue she even took and when I received all of our pictures was amazed at what an amazing job she did. I would recommend her to anyone.
