Hi there, I’m Olivia, the face behind Afterglow Weddings and Events! With over five years of experience in the wedding industry, including catering and venue sales, I've been part of more than 100 love stories. My journey in the Chicago wedding industry has included time as a venue coordinator, catering sales manager and event coordinator. My favorite part about working in the industry is working with couples to help their wedding dreams come to life. At Afterglow Weddings and Events, I'm dedicated to bringing your dreams to life and ensuring every detail reflects your unique love story.

Having been in the Chicago wedding industry for over 5 years I have a wide range of experience working in catering, venues and private planning. I wanted to use my expertise to help all couples bring their dream wedding to life!

    Afterglow Weddings and Events was an excellent choice for our wedding planning needs. We did the 8-week coordination, which was exactly the level of help we needed and a very reasonable price for the help. Olivia's communication style was efficient and regular, with weekly check-ins to ensure we stayed on track. Olivia managed the full vendor timeline, which relieved a lot of stress for us as we got closer to the date and various vendors had lots of little questions. The online platform made it easy to stay organized and on top of all the details, especially the seating chart. We felt truly supported throughout the entire process thanks to Olivia and Abbey. Highly recommend their services!

    We had a beautiful wedding with multiple locations and many vendors. Olivia did an amazing job coordinating it all. We didn't have to worry about anything all day! She also helped us with planning the months before. It was great to have someone to ask questions to who had been through this many times. She did a wonderful job helping us plan our timeline, too. Our wedding would not have gone as smoothly and been as wonderful as it was without Olivia!

    My husband and I cannot recommened Olivia and Afterglow Events enough! She made the last 3 months of wedding planning and day of truly a breeze. Her planning platform keeps vendor details so well organized and makes final details like meal choices & seating charts so simple. She handled all vendor communication and meetings with ease. She was very responsive with all my numerous questions. We cannot say enough good things about Olivia regarding execution of our rehearsal and wedding day. I am a type A gal and she set up all my DIYs exactly how I imagined. She and her assistant would check in periodically with me and my husband and ask if we needed anything and if we did they would make sure it was handled. From holding all of my belongings in their fanny packs, making sure the party bus had all the required items on board and running to make sure I had my setting powder with me they truly made sure everything ran smoothly. Olivia went over and beyond and even made sure to grab my slippers from the hotel room to make sure I was the most comfortable on the dancefloor. She is so organized and such a calming and confident presence on wedding day. Working with Olivia was such a great decision and helped make our day even more special.
