Hi! I’m Mirna, founder of Magnolia Blue! Certified wedding planner. An immigrant from Egypt who loves exploring and engaging in several creative outlets. My degree is in interior architecture as I have been passionate about interior design for as long as I can remember! I love interior design just as much as I love event planning, so I decided to take my two passions and spin them into one thing. I bring the beauty of decor as well as the organizational skills needed to make your wedding the fairytale wedding that you deserve! At Magnolia Blue, I try my best to work with everyone’s budget to bring their expectations and dream style to life!

It's an amazing feeling to share these life changing moments with the bride and groom. When I work in a wedding, I value it as my own wedding and I care about it more than anything.     Mirna got paid in full and gave the bare minimum. She was fired 5 days before my wedding. To start, vendors were never contacted, she was to contact them 2 weeks in advance. Timeline was never completed until day of firing, and it was the basic timeline, not the detailed timeline she was suppose to have completed. She never checked in with us to see if we needed anything, far from personable, we always reached out to her. She couldn’t be reached the entire weekend before my wedding day, without a heads up. Then states on our call, she’s just a day of coordinator , we paid her for the service of being our “month of coordinator”. A waste of our hard earned money. As the bride I was STRESSED out the week of my wedding completing all the things she said she offered in her services. I made the process easy as cake for her with a detailed slideshow of who/what/where’s, and the ball was still dropped.

    We found her to be disengaged during the reception and guests had to point things out to her including that the cake had not arrived. She was on her phone much of the time and seemed annoyed when we asked for direction. She didn’t even make sure that the DJ had the brides correct last name. I am not sure of the level of package that my son and his fiancée purchased but her lack of professionalism was disappointing.

    Mirna at Magnolia Blue Planning ensured that our day went as smoothly as possible! We could focus on having fun with our guests because we knew Mirna was capable and prepared to handle any situation that came our way. We are so thankful for Mirna's advice and expertise throughout the wedding planning process. She kept us organized and made sure that every detail was planned out. On the day of our wedding, Mirna set up all of our decor and made my vision come to life! We highly recommend Magnolia Blue Planning for your wedding day of coordination!

    Mirna was really great and easy to work with. She helped me with vendor recommendations and choosing my wedding decorations. She was there the entire way of my wedding planning to answer any question via text or a call. She also helped with setting up and taking down decorations on my wedding day so I didn’t have to hire a florist. Overall, I cannot thank Mirna enough for everything she did! She was really super helpful and highly recommended :)
