My name is Katie Cole, and I am the Founder/Head Planner at Palmetto River Planning. I have been planning weddings and events since 2021, but just decided to establish my own company late last year. I am trustworthy, honest, dedicated, and am known for paying close attention to detail. With a passion for this industry, it is my personal goal to make every couple a member of the Palmetto River family and ensure that all our couple's have a worry-free and magical day.

I am dedicated, trust-worthy, pay a great attention to detail, fun, and organized! I am big on great communication and love helping my clients. I truly take the time to get to know all my clients and become part of their family!

Palmetto River Planning was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the very first call, Katie and her team were helpful, honest, and incredibly knowledgeable about the entire wedding planning process. They were truly hardworking partners who helped resolve any conflicts that arose, ensuring the day went off without a hitch. Katie was my best friend for the day, perfectly timing the groom's arrival so he wouldn't see me before the ceremony, and making sure all the vendors were there on time and did their jobs. The quality of their work and value they provided was outstanding. I cannot recommend Palmetto River Planning enough to any couple planning their special day.

We hired Katie and her team for day of coordinating for our wedding. I cannot begin to put into words how valuable she was to our day. She truly went above and beyond my expectations from the time we started working together till the end of the wedding. She was so organized and made our day so entirely stress free, kept all of our vendors where they needed to be, had a shot list for our photographer and made sure everything we wanted to happen happened! Katie was so good, I wish she could coordinate my wedding everyday! There was not a thing that was forgotten or misplaced even if it was something I just mentioned in passing, we are truly blown away and will be recommending her to all of our friends as they begin to get married!

Palmetto River Planning was an absolute dream to work with. They were incredibly responsive, communicative, and made the entire process feel seamless. Katie completely made the wedding timeline that helped the day go by so much easier. She did not leave a single stone unturned, and the attention to detail was exceptional. On the day of our wedding, when the rain forced us to move the ceremony indoors, Katie and Dlorah jumped into action to ensure everything still went perfectly. The held off for as long as possible and when the rain still didn't let up, they were right there comforting me and assuring me the day would still be beautiful. Katie calmed our nerves, helped bustle my dress, and even assisted the groomsmen with their boutonnieres. They were there from start to finish, working tirelessly to make our special day perfect. I cannot recommend Palmetto River Planning enough - they truly helped make our wedding dreams a reality. I truly do not think the day would have gone as smoothly as it did without them right there throughout the whole day.

Yes! Palmetto River Planning is a registered business in the State of Georgia and the State of South Carolina. Our planners are certified and we are insured.

We do not charge fees for gas or food within the states of Georgia or South Carolina. However, we will charge a base fee of $150.00 per night for a hotel stay for anything past an 1.5 from our home base.

Yes!! Palmetto River Planning can plan any event from bridal showers, bachelorette parties, engagement parties, birthday parties, rehearsal dinners, baby showers and more.

Depending on the package, you can expect a minimum of 3 consultations. We offer unlimited communication from the time of booking and you are always welcome to reach out with any questions!

No! While we can work multiple events in the span of one weekend, we currently do not work multiple events on the same date. We are currently building a larger team, and hope to be able to take multiple events in the future.

We love a good deal! We are usually always running a sale, so all you need to do is inquire about possible sales. You can also find our promotions on any of our social media pages. We do offer a 5% off discount for military, first-responders, and certain medical professionals year around.

Our clients rave about our attention to detail, quick thinking, and open communication. You can expect Palmetto River to be readily available for any questions you might have, and to be dedicated to making your special day as stress free and magical as possible. With years of wedding planning experience, we enjoy getting to bring our client's vision to life and getting to know each of them personally.
