Welcome to Simply Southern Chic! At SSC, my team and I are here to make your wedding stress free and rememberable in all of the best ways possible! We love that we get to develop personal relationships with each client. We feel that it is truly the key to making every event a unique and special affair to remember. Being a very detail-oriented team, I feel this helps us focus on even the smallest aspects when helping you create the day of your dreams. I am Kimberly Dykes, lead planner and coordinator of Simply Southern Chic. I am a mother of two beautifully talented girls, Cailee, 25, and Kynslee, 20. I have been an active duty Army wife for 24 years which gave my family lots of beautiful experiences and life long friends. I am also a kindergarten teacher. My experiences as a teacher of the past 15 years have been helpful in my journey as a wedding professional. Believe it or not, teaching five year olds is a lot like coordinating a wedding! Description

Planning a wedding takes countless hours of stress, frustration, and sometimes even tears. Our “I Need it All” full service planning package is the real deal and will have you covered in every way! We will cover all details from wedding theme and graphic designs, budget and contract management, day-of setup and tear down, day-of-coordination, detail management and endless support!

Sometimes you just don't need it all. If you're wanting a little less, here's our “We Can Make It Happen” Package. With this package, you will get wedding theme design, contract management and vendor booking, day-of design set up, day-of-coordination and endless support.

If all the planning is done and you just need help the day of, this is the package for you! We will meet 30 days before your wedding to determine your layout and vision. We'll talk to your vendors, create a timeline, lead a one hour rehearsal and coordinate for seven hours the day of your wedding. Plus, unlimited texts, calls, and emails!

    We honestly didn’t realize how much we needed Kim until she swooped in and took control. As organized people, we were well planned out, but the execution is another beast to tame. She was all over it from DJ to Photographer to unruly family. Her demeanor is a perfect balance of very kind and schoolyard warden. We are so grateful for her help and guidance. Don’t go into your event without her and be sorry.
