We specialize in elegant, romantic and whimsical weddings, and a day inspired by your love story! It’s Your Day! We handle all of the details so all you have to do is show up and live it!

I am a certified and award-winning planner who has been doing weddings since 2008. It’s my passion to work with my couples to help them create a day that tells their love story. I truly go out of my way for every couple I work with, and it’s important to me, that your day is as beautiful to you as my wedding was to me! We not only service Knoxville TN and the Smoky Mountain area, but we are excited to offer destination and travel planning. We will come create your beautiful day, wherever you are! We truly are experts at creating your beautiful memories!

    Kate is something else- I was in near constant contact with her in the weeks leading up to my wedding and she would check in off and on in the months leading up to it. She is supportive, detailed, and committed to running your wedding smoothly. She is a calming force during a chaotic time and very truthful and honest.

    From the moment we booked with A Touch of Whimsi Weddings & Events, we knew we were in good hands. Kate's communication style is fast, reliable, and straight to the point - exactly what we needed to keep our wedding planning on track. The quality of her work is truly exceptional, as she is thorough, detailed, and meticulous in every aspect. When our original officiant canceled on us the day before the wedding, Kate jumped into action and helped us find a last-minute replacement, ensuring our ceremony went off without a hitch. She was always available to answer our questions and address our concerns, no matter the time or day. I never once felt like an inconvenience or a burden. Kate also made sure our vendors were on track and not taking advantage of us, and she was incredibly considerate of our budget, finding amazing vendors that fit within our means. I cannot recommend A Touch of Whimsi Weddings & Events enough - I truly could not have planned my dream wedding without Kate's expertise and guidance.

    I can't say enough good things about our wedding coordinator Kate and her assistant! From start to finish, Kate was incredibly organized, attentive, and professional. She took all the stress out of planning and made sure every detail was perfect. From helping me with my timeline, vendor communication, running our rehearsal, and setting up and breaking down on our wedding day she did it all! Our big day went off without a hitch, and it was all thanks to their hard work and dedication. Highly recommend!
