A Step to Gold International Ballroom has the grandeur and enchanting ambiance that offers a unique setting for your wedding reception venue or private party events! Our pricing is competitive and we are willing to work with you to make your event a memorable experience. We are incredibly accessible and provide an ideal Raleigh location. A Step to Gold is conveniently located west of Crabtree Valley Mall on Glenwood Avenue (Hwy 70) in The Pleasant Valley Shopping Center. We have plenty of parking and are handicapped accessible. We can't wait to make your event dreams a reality!

Wasser Room
Its the smallest of the 2 ballrooms but quaint and personal!
The Wasser Room is our lobby area ballroom. It is 1,000 square feet (25′ x 40′) and is most often used for small showers, receptions, early morning breakfast meetings, and half-day business meetings. When rented with the Starlight Ballroom, we often use this room for the catering/beverage service so guests can maximize the amount of room in the ballroom. This room can accommodate about 75 standing guests or 50 people seated around tables.

Starlight Ballroom
We hosted a surprise engagement and wedding all in one!
The Starlight Ballroom is a 2,400 square foot (60′ x 40′) ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows on two sides. This room will accommodate approximately 175 people for a cocktail reception and about 150 people for a seated reception. This room also has a private entrance from the balcony that wraps around the entire second floor of the building. There is a 2nd small ballroom which is used for social/catering/beverage serving.
