About this venue

Dixie Dreams is a special events facility located on the beautiful Rocky River in Monroe, NC. We are a Charlotte’s newest and finest country venue for parties, weddings, receptions, family reunions, conferences, and meetings. At Dixie Dreams there is over 100 acres of land with 3/4 mile river frontage. The wooded trails and outdoor scenery makes a wonderful place for reflection, privacy and pictures. Our Venue consists of a large, room that can hold up to 200 guests with a Rockwall fireplace,and media (personal information protected by Zola) commercial quality kitchen includes a large refrigerator and freezer, microwave, and large ice-maker. A very special, separate bridal suite is available for the bride and her guests. There is an open gazebo out back to host a beautiful wedding ceremony. A 960 sqft. Bridal suite equipped with a hair and make up area, full bathroom, and suite for overnight stay.

The Gazebo

Dixie Dreams is a special events facility located on the beautiful Rocky River in Monroe, NC.

The Gazebo makes a gorgeous spot for your ceremony. Located right outside the back doors of the Dixie Dreams barn, makes for easy access from ceremony to reception. The Gazebo is equipped with electricity so you can add any sort of lights to enhance the romantic country setting. We have various barrels and other rustic decor as well as beautiful string lights to make it your ceremony even more romantic. We have separate chairs from the reception area as well. Dixie Dreams staff will take care of setting these up.

The Barn

The rock wall fireplace and rustic pine walls allow you to keep the romantic country feel while at the same time allowing for a more elegant setting.

Our 4000 sq. ft. indoor facility features a beautiful rockwall fireplace which makes it the center of attention for all events. The rock wall fireplace and rustic pine walls allow you to keep the romantic country feel while at the same time allowing for a more elegant setting. Our spacious kitchen is equipped with a stove, icemaker, freezer, commercial size refrigerator and more. Men and women’s restrooms are on site. We also have a 70 inch flat screen TV which is perfect for photo slide shows or videos. We can accommodate up to 200 people. We also have a closet full of rustic decor to help make decorating your reception easier. There is a large porch with rocking chairs and romantic lighting that is a perfect area for your guests to mingle during cocktail hour. We also have a fire-pit out back with tables and benches surrounding it making an awesome hangout area during reception.
